Bleh.

For one thing, making them both a single color makes them look horrible. Pure white? It's like they forgot to color it. Then both of them have those weird tails that look like the stinger on a Beedrill. I also don't get what they're supposed to be designed after either. I miss when they looked like they could be something out of a real myth, like the legendary birds and the Regi golems and such. Those guys looked more like their image was formed around the legend. But these two...they're like Dialga and Palkia but worse. If you look at Moltres anyone could go, "Umm...legendary fire bird or phoenix? That's correct? Sweet!" But you look at Dialga and it's "ummmmm.....uuuuuuh......eeeeeeeer.....Pointy dog of the industrial revolution? What? It controls TIME?! What the fuck?" I know a lot of the legendaries aren't clear what myth they go with, like Celebi or Lugia or Mewtwo, but at least they looked like mythical creatures. These two, especially the black one, look man-made.

Oh, and looking at these two I thought I would change my mind and buy the White version instead of the Black version because I like the white legendary better, but then I looked at the image art and the white one goes with the black version and visa verse.......since when did we start swapping the legendaries? Lugia didn't go with Gold and Groudon didn't go with Sapphire.

Well, duh, if they had the white legendary with Pokemon White and the black legendary with Pokemon Black, you wouldn't be able to see the art at all!

Oh yes, thanks for reminding me, I was gonna say that. It's the minute details like that, that I enjoy. Like the transparency on battle text so you can see the body of your pokemon also, not just the head anymore. I love the small things. <3

Honestly the water starter has grown on me, I still won't pick it but it isn't terrible. The legendaries of this gen are SO much better than 4th gen (so far) imo, and honestly I'm getting more and more excited for this game!

Heh, I saw some fanart for Zekrom at dA, and one of the comments there also said that they look like Digimon.

There's a rumor on Serebii that Zekrom might be an Electric Dragon. If anything, I would have expected that of Reshiram. Since they put the white legendary in Black and vice versa, maybe they'll mix things up even more and make Reshiram a Dark Dragon. =p

That tail also looks like it could be a turbine generator? An Electric/Dragon would be awesome, yet I'd feel sad if that's what it is because I don't feel the Electric part. I barely feel the Dragon part...

Somebody here suggested that the legendaries looked man made. Consider the more modernized look of the cities so far, I wonder if that's intentional.

It doesn't mean they don't look like butt, though.

I don't like 'em. We sure as hell don't need MORE DAMNED DRAGONS. And i'm not liking the white one. The black one looks cool, but it's not terribly original.

Jeez... I don't like anything about these game so far. I like the ideas, like animated battles, better camera views, etc, but they're pulled off so unbelievably bad that I want to believe we're being pranked. I'm not the type to judge a game based on it's graphics but this games look so visually unappealing, and in fact, disgusting, that I just can't get into them. I don't even want to try this.

I'm hoping that Nintendo will polish the graphics in these games, but if they don't, then I'm just going to completely skip these games.
