hurray! and yeah, maybe it would need to be KO'd. In some ways I find it very disappointing this will never actually be in a Pokemon game. :P

So you're using a 'high-end' ish program. (I hate cs...prefer full photoshop 7.) Your coloring made me think of something like open canvas.
Do you use multiple layers and flats or just a single layer and continually paint on top of it?

It varies. It turns out best when I use separate layers, but when I'm lazy, I don't really bother. I still put the lineart and bg on a separate layers, but coloring of the character would then all be on the same layer. And I prefer photoshop 7, too, but the disc we had got lost and I don't know if it's compatible with vista anyways. So I figured I'd just try something new.
I used to have open canvas, but my stupid sister got rid of it. I actually liked it quite a bit, but never really bothered looking further into it.

Ok... This is the last pokemon related picture, I swear. This was an idea from SHE who insisted I draw Age looking like James from the anime, after seeing the Age and Raichu pic. It seemed like a nice idea, so I went right ahead with it. The second pic is one I did out of boredom the other day with some good drawing pencils (lately I've been using mechanical pencils). Kite flirting with Nitzaku, making her all bashful and whatnot... So, yeah, nothing new there. :p

(Maybe I'll try to convince you one day to draw all three of them in Rocket uniforms. XD It would be an amusing contrast.)

Age would probably make a better James than...James. Raichu looks as happy as ever, probably standing on a whole pile of loot. It just doesn't seem like that would be a comfortable position to hold your hand, Age's left our right. The Rocket outfit came out really nice and the hair looks very smooth and naturally flowing. Don't know the characters in the second picture but I like how it looks. She might just be shy around a man who has longer bangs, wears more jewelry, and has more eyes than her. Their expressions tell a lot though. Kite looks like he is trying to have fun with her but not be a jerk and that Nitzaku feels uncomfortable talking about something. Hope that just because the Pokemon pictures are stopping that the drawings won't die down.

Well, when it said Little Mermaid, I expected The Little Mermaid, not that it matters to me. Just saying it was different.

Well, it's more my own version of the little mermaid. I never really liked the Disney version, so it'd be really rare if I drew Ariel. I've basically always drawn mermaids topless, I just usually have their boobs hidden some how (by having them at an angle or having their hair obscure things). It just happened to work a lot better this way.

That made me giggle. Plus he is a pirate, which just further complicates things since she a very justice-bound character. So she probably is just largely uncomfortable with talking to him at all.
And I didn't think about how I had positioned Age's left hand, but you're right, that would be an awkward and uncomfortable position.

Knowing her, it's probably a mix of the two, since her first reaction when she gets all shy around him is to cover it up with anger. :p So this is probably the split second before she tells him to go to hell.
And I have to say, I dunno if I can see Lara in a team rocket uniform. :p Seems like she'd be to goody-goody for it. (Carson on the other hand....well, he'd be easy to bribe.)
