That is a very purdy collection. I might consider it if it had Battlespire and Redguard, and instructions to run them in windows 7. But because Bethesda have released Arena and Daggerfall for free, I actually already have all of the digital content that the collection has to offer.

This, sans already owning Dragonborn. And I never have gotten Arena or Daggerfall to work for me, but I also never tried very hard to get DOSBox to work, so that's pretty much my own fault.

pfft, but owning physical things are always better than digital. You can't sleep with your digital things and caress them to sleep.

 

Plus I think I read somewhere that Arena/Daggerfall are remastered to play on Windows 7. But I could be crazy.

Paper's Please is up for preorder. If you haven't played it yet I'd suggest you try it. It's a lot of fun despite not looking like it. It's the first game I've pre ordered in a long time, just because I enjoyed it so much.

What do you guys think about eve? Sometimes I wish I had time to dedicate to this game, if only to be part of something like this, because that kind of stuff just can't really happen in other games. My problem is getting past the grind, or the real-world dollar barrier, in order to feel like any substantial part of the world.
 
Planetside 2 also does a pretty great job of presenting massive, emergent battles to large groups of players. I enjoy playing it, but I kinda suck, so I only play once in a blue moon.
 
I don't know if other MMOs are doing anything similar, mostly because I don't pay much attention to MMOs. But, if they aren't, they should.
 
 
 
When I started writing this post, I thought I had a bigger point to make, but I can't think of anything else to add. I'm still going to leave this... What do you guys think about this stuff?

 
I love EVE, and it actually doesn't take that much time to get to a point where you're able to have fun and participate--maybe not in something that grand, but in fun things nonetheless. I only played for I think six months (maybe less) and in that time I became a pretty high ranking member in a small corporation. But yeah, I can't justify the $14 a month just to play for a couple hours a day and not do anything else ever.

I want that game now,  it seems amazing. it's sad I won't get it til close to the end of next year, but luckily I may be able to get Knights of pen and Paper with any luck because that looks super awesome as well.

Knights of Pen and Paper is alright. It's just a little too traditional RPGy for me, and kind of bored me after a while. But it looks and plays fantastic for what it is.

No. It's just a traditional old school RPG. It's kind of akin to Dragon Quest.
