Is Square Enix actively trying to ruin every stealth game I've ever loved? Why couldn't they get Stephen Russell to voice Garrett? I hear him in other games, dude is still around.

Final Fantasy VI coming to iOS and Android (and possibly FFVII on)

 

ugh. It's one thing to straight up port the DS versions of FFIII and FFIV, but come on. If you're going to remake FFV(which is already up) and FFVI at least give them proper remakes on 3DS/Vita too (like FFIII/IV/Chrono Trigger got). FFV looks like a shitty Tecmo Android JRPG, which looks worse than most RPG Maker games.

Borderlands 2 has a game of the year edition. i still want to wait because there are going to be more dlc packs, and i want to play it all in one big stretch so i don't get distracted by other stuff

So I bought a 2DS for my sister with Pokemon X for her birthday/Christmas.

 

But I don't particularly like her and don't think she really deserves it so I'm playing it until at least her birthday (which is the end of the month)...probably until I can buy a Link Between Worlds and beat that.

 

It's pretty decent. I actually don't have a hard time holding it, for a budget console it's pretty groovy. I can really see it's appeal, especially for someone like me, who doesn't really actually take my portable consoles away from home except for like on trips. I don't really need to put it in my pocket or anything. I can see the problem when compared to the 3DS XL's screen, but, eh. I don't really care that much about huge screens.

Ah, nostalgia.

Meh, I guess since I wasn't around to play all the old Nintendo/Sega/Whatever the fuck retro games, my nostalgia is more like my older brother showing me how to play Shogun Total War and me fucking around with the custom battles. Ah... those were the good days.

 

 

Man I miss the days when strategy games were at least sort of part of the mainstream, and had those steep as fuck learning curves. Now we have Civ six hundred billion (Which is still somehow pretty good, by the way) and Europa Universalis (Which I've never had the chance to play).

Fallout 4 should be almost done by now, you think? since elder scrolls is going online, that leaves bgs without a "corner" game. they're looking to hire programmers to work on an upcoming rpg.

I'm pretty sure that elder scrolls isn't going to be only online they probably just wanted to make an mmo so they have money coming in consistently and what bigger game could they make into one than last years game of the year
