does anyone think playing old school platformers can make you more neurotic? sonic and mario teach you to avoid touching a bad guy at all costs, or else you die and have to redo a hard level. that's a lot of pressure to put on a kid whose next hardest activity is not falling down the stairs.

you awaken in the intestinal tract of satan. you must defeat the hydra to escape. your only weapon is righteous anger.

That reminds me, weren't they reportedly doing a DS remake for FF6 a while back like they did for 3 and 4? Or am I making things up?

I don't know. I feel like you're making that up.

Since they did do a FF6 enhanced port/remake for the GBA like 3 years after the DS came out.

True, although they did already have a GBA port of FF4 as well, and they still made a DS version.

Maybe the video I saw was some kind of DS tech demo that randomly happened to have FF6 characters. I distinctly remember there being a video because of a discussion about Terra's hair color (it was blonde in 3D, and a lot of people thought it was green in all the 2D iterations).

It was blonde is the PS1 version's cut scenes, too. But always green I'm the games.

Yeah, I just noticed that as I was image searching her to see how prevalent each color was.
