Doesn't it still plan to have a monthly subscription fee?

If so, then I'll still pass on it. Games are expensive enough without having to pay a per month premium.

Though this makes no mention of a monthly premium, it wouldn't surprise me if they did.

ON the same note looks like you can sign-up to be a part of a BETA test.

I prefer monthly subscription games for various reasons.

F2P games in have atendancy to cost more at start in order to enjoy fully then Monthly subscriptions. Some features are  locked or limited untill you pay
They also have the option of going P2Win.

The monthly subscription games are sure to offer you 100% of the game from the start, it's reliable and it has a steady base income allowing for better updates and patch times

Yeah but if you're going to be a pay per month kind of game you shouldn't require the purchase of the game as well. The client should be free and then a monthly fee.

Plus, monthly fee types of games are ridiculously over priced.

I only play pay-to-win games. As in, I buy the game, then I play it til I win.

Yeah, I think I'd rather play a Pay2Win game than a PayPerMonth game.

I'm on a limited budget, as in I don't have millions of dollars to spend on games. I also hop between games routinely, like I'll play a game when I feel like it, and then not play it later on. A game with a monthly payment doesn't keep my interest because I have to routinely pay whenever I want to play it for like a week. I then get bored, and put the game down for a month, come back, and find I need to pay yet again just to enjoy it for a week.

I think I'll stick to games that aren't killing my wallet singlehandedly.

I know we've had this kind of discussion before, but I don't really mind in game purchases. As long as it doesn't take away from the game or forces me to actually spend money to win I'm fine. Even the free app idea of energy doesn't bug me, since it's free. Although I do really wish in situations like that there was a way to spend $X in order to be able to non-stop play, that's the semi-shady part.

I just recently finished Beyond Oasis so I'm now going to start playing Super Mario World as I just got a copy earlier today. :) Yeah I haven't played this game at all before so I'm sure it's going to be great since I do like Mario. xD And whoever owned the game before me took great care of the cart.

Beyond Oasis was one of the more interesting games that I saw for the Wii virtual console (I never had a genisis, so the VC was my first exposure to it). I'm sad I never gave it a chance while I had a Wii.

It's a pretty alright game. I never gave it much of a chance either.

But considering there isn't much in the way of RPGs for the Genesis, it kind of stands out.

I first played it back when Sega Channel was a thing. I downloaded it when I got Wii and managed to get to the last area, but I got stuck and never finished. =(

Well, I'm getting more into Hyperdimension Neptunia: Victory, and I plan to get back to Recettear sometime tomorrow.

And the backlog got bigger :(

Playing Faerie Solitare again.

Since my computer had an issue with itself all of my saved files died. I'll completely forgot about my files, so I didn't back them up.

I'll be playing The Last Remant later on this week.

This is called Rollercoaster Tycoon Economics. You either pay to enter, or pay to ride. Either way the toilets all cost $2.95 because how bad do you want to livepee?

this game is the best.

Traded in some games yesterday and bought Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. It seems like a really well done port in my honest opinion.

Still suffering from the really cheap/potentially preventable deaths though >...>

Finally started Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward yesterday. I'm really, really enjoying it so far, though I'm really only on the third room so far (the first being the introduction room) XD

I already have a lot of questions, and I fully anticipate most of them not being answered till the game's over. Haha. Though that's not gonna stop me from trying to maneuver so I'm hanging with the people I currently have questions about. I think the system is quite neat compared to the first game...My only thing at the beginning was wondering why everyone didn't just press 'ally' every time - but then again, pending Zero's identity that definitely wouldn't happen.

Currently stuck on a puzzle involving a dart board. It's rather vexing because I feel like I know what I need to do, but every combination I've thought of has proven incorrect. ):

just finished it and wow. the heist was awesome, but the very very last mission felt flat. i was hoping to at least rough DW up a little before killing him.
