Done with my 5-day Minecraft demo. Spent of bit of time figuring things out (then looking things up), tried to build a house, had a Creeper sneak up on me before I even saw it, got chased by amphibious spiders, died a couple of times. The usual, I'm sure.

If I do end up purchasing the full game, I'm presently undecided on how I want to play it. Leaving mobs turned on seems like the proper way to do it and would probably be interesting, but it's also rather annoying to wait for night to pass, and just building stuff in creative mode sounds fun too.

BF4. When I can actually get on a server, it's pretty good.

I've been trying to get the Platinum trophy for DmC Devil May Cry lately. I have all but three left till I reach it, which include: Beating the game on Dante Must Die mode (So far, easier than DMC3's version), get SSS rank on all missions in Nephilim rank (the harder difficulty setting of Normal Mode), and slay 5,000 demons (I had 4,500 the last time the notification checkpoint was thrown up). Unfortunately the difficulty mode trophies are NOT stackable, so I had to play them all one after another. Heaven and Hell was easiest since I could kill everything in one hit, but Hell and Hell was, well, absolute Hell. I die in one hit, everything else is standard health. Unfortunately, I'm beginning to lose the motivation now, which really stinks cause I wasted so much time already. Still gonna try my best to get the Plat. though.

I played GTA V online with my best friend and brother.

It's a LOT more fun with a mic.

Oh the fun you will have. Just wait until you die in lava after you've mined for an hour so losing a good portion of iron, gold, maybe even diamond, and any tools/armor you had. Those are the darkest nights...

Just died in lava a short while ago, actually. =p But I didn't have anything fancier than coal on me at the time. I have yet to even find iron, much less gold or diamonds.

Worst that's happened so far is losing my leather helmet and boots after barely finding enough leather. I went outside when it apparently wasn't quite light enough out, and three zombies bum rushed me.

EDIT: I stumbled across a village at one point. Wasn't expecting anything like that. Can't remember where it was though. xp

Just find a random spot and dig down diagonally like steps. I usually do it right inside my first beginner house. Iron is plentiful and actually much easier to get than leather. You will find some as you dig.You would be better to save all leather for bookcases and enchanting table later, stars.

Old flash signature has been revived for nostalgic purposes. Too bad RpgWizard hasn't been revived. :\

So noted. I'll have to expand my search area to find more cows, but I'll save them for breeding since I've already killed the few near my safe houses. xp

Giving Farcry 3 a shot on the hard difficulty. Not to far in to the game, but it might just satisfy my stealthy desires. We will see.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Playing Chantelise. Not a fan so far.

Have you ever played Threads of Fate? I feel like part of the enjoyment of that game is based on if you have or not.

No. Threads of Fate is an old Playstation game made by Square Soft.

I'm totally wrong though, because Chantelise is not based off of Threads of Fate. I always get it confused with this game for some reason.

Bravely Default Demo.

I started it when it first came out and it was hard/meh and stopped. Now I've finally got a hang of it and it's really cool. I love the battle system, I love the level of difficulty, I enjoy it a lot. I know this demo isn't exactly indicative of the full game (which is full of a lot more awesome sounding things), but I'm pretty glad I preordered it. I'm sure I'll loves it. Could end up being my favorite 3DS game I've played.

Also kinda played Etrian Odyssey IV. It's kinda cool, but reminds me a lot of just Shin Megami Tensei but with like no cool demons and a no direction? At least it has started off like that. It seems like it could be really cool, and I better learn to like it before Persona Q comes out. I don't know, just feels like a Fantasy version of SMT where I have to make maps. And at least SMT IV got rid of the old school dungeon crawling thing, which I don't particularly like.

Tried 99 Spirits out, but it's just so slow that I'm wondering if I'm going to play it again.

I tried to play Uncharted 3. I really did try. I don't understand why people think it's so good. After about an hour, I couldn't stand it anymore. The AIs were stupid, it was way too difficult to fight, movements were also difficult, and everything was just so bad. I doubt I'll ever pick it up again, and I'm frankly glad I got it for free through PS+.

I also started the Bravely Default demo. I got into rather quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is demo exclusive content and my save kinda transfers over to the actual game.

Nice to know my time is values to some extent. The demo itself is wonderful and I'm excited for this game.

Yay! I'm glad someone else is enjoying it. We can be summon friends!

There's quite a lot of depth to it, when I posted that I wasn't very far, just kinda grinding (since the demo is so hard, which is weird considering the full game lets you go on your own pace). I really enjoy the job system. It's not much different from FFV or FFT but I feel like there's a lot more versatility and interesting combinations that those games lack. Plus the abilities do a lot to add to the strategy that is the Brave/Default battle system. The first "boss" I fought I just did my normal kill it quick! That I do with every enemy. I got completely decimated in one turn. But I found a nice balance of defaulting/ninja-ing and it made the battle far more manageable.

Right now I'm in the forest and all the enemies are super bitchy and annoying. But in a good way.

I'm glad I waited so long to get into it. I now can't wait a week to get my game, I would have hated a month.

THANK YOU! I'm tired of being the only one who thinks Uncharted is entirely overrated.
