Ha ha, yeah, men need pretty constant ego boosting. We're like that.

Don't know if you would want to, but one thing I liked was using the respec mod. It will let you reallocate the skill points of you and your team. It is kinda role playing breaking (for instance, you could make Morrigan a straight healer), but it really lets you customize your team.

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

I downloaded Dolphin browser for my phone, which is the easy way to get Flash on Android. So I'm playing lots and lots of internet flash games on my phone...because I'm too lazy to start up my desktop computer.

The Legend of Korra video game. I enjoyed it a lot and I'm glad it was only $15. I got about 5 hours playing through the main story and now I'm messing around with the Pro-Bending competitions, playing through on a harder difficulty, and unlocking everything. There are a lot of things that seemed clunky with the menus and navigation, but the gameplay was solid and it was a neat little story that takes place between books. It does a great job with the bending powers and by the time I maxed out everything I felt like the Avatar. Reviews make it seem like it should be a AAA game because of the studio that made it, but it's a tie-in game to a good show for only $15. It was worth my money.

I played a lot of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call this weekend. It's really good.

I think Square Enix has proven to me with this game and Bravely Default that they can definitely make a good Final Fantasy game still, just not when it's an actual Final Fantasy game.

Started playing Final Fantasy 7 because it's in that good ol' steam backlog of mine. It's kinda strange, since I really don't have any nostalgia at all towards the game. It's pretty slow moving, especially in battles (even after I sped them up).

Boy, those characters man... they're something else to look at.

Haha, it's not really Square's fault though, the PSX was just terrible graphically, even for the time.

Champions Online. Finally found myself a solid build, so I spent quite a bit of time basically leaping into enemies I had no business being around and then wiping the floor with them.

I can already out-aggro about half the tanks in the game, and I'm not a tank. S'fun stuff.

Especially since I can throw tanker trailers now, which is far more fun than it should be. Nothing like leaping off a roof holding an eighteen wheeler and a trailer full of gasoline and planting it squarely on the face of some scrubby bad guy. PHYSICS! /o/

Valkyria Chronicles is pretty neat. It needs an iron man mode, though.

So I've been switching between Metro 2033 and Bit.Trip Presents: Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. Both are pretty good. Metro plays a little too much like a Call of Duty for me, but the world it presents is pretty interesting. Runner2 is exactly what you'd expect from Gaijin, a quirky little rhythm game that does exactly what the name implies. If you liked Bit.Trip Runner but thought it was a little bit lacking, Runner2 probably solves those problems.

If you're not already, try Metro on the Ranger mode, or whatever the name is of the crazy ridiculous mode for crazy ridiculous people. The one that removes the hud and basically makes you and everything else die in just a few bullets. It's not as bad as it sounds, and really adds to the atmosphere of the game.

Maybe, I'm actually rubbish at first person shooters though, and those mutant rats keep killing me on the medium or whatever difficulty.

Monument Valley. It forces you to think differently about geometry while still being very calming. Too bad there are only 11 puzzles.

I was super excited to finally break in my 3DS with Alpha Sapphire...but the touch screen doesn't work. =(

I got a refurbished system with birthday money in July, so I guess I'll see if anything can be done about it 4 months after purchase. =/

EDIT: Tried searching for a solution and may have found a way to fix it on my own? We'll see.

EDIT 2: Cleaning and recalibrating did nothing, so to customer support I go.
