I beat Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. Now I just have to do epilogue stuff. Not super excited about it now that I've gotten there.

Switched gears to Lunar: Silver Star Harmony, but I don't know. I don't think I particularly like much about Silver Star in the first place, and there's so many different versions I could be playing (like the PSX version). Harmony is probably somewhere close to the worst version, either that or Legends (but Legends gets a pass because it's a GBA game, at least it had somewhat of an excuse). Also started Final Fantasy VII because iono and a lot of Mario Kart 8.

Just finished The Brigmore Witches DLC for Dishonored. Good stuff. I fully enjoyed both story DLC sets for the game. More sneaking, plz.

Things I have been playing:

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 - I don't really like this game. I have the original first two games for PS3 but never played them because Leggy said the newest one was more worth it. So I bought this game hoping it would be more worth it. I don't know...it's not particularly bad, just boring. Subject matter I'm surprised, it's not nearly as risky/ugggh as I was expecting it to be (but sometimes it is a bit ugh). The writing is kind of lame though, constantly breaking the fourth wall and it's not very funny. I also don't understand the difficulty level, sometimes a monster will hit me for a ton and sometimes barely anything. Also the remix/whatever system is a mess. I don't understand why JRPGs today are all visual novels and have no exploration. It bugs me so much. But overall it's just o-kay. I feel like it could have been a much better game. Don't know if I'll play it for a lot longer.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS Demo -  I kind of like this game. The demo is just way too limited to get a really good feel for the game. Also I have yet to play multiplayer (just playing against the CPU). It's fun, but there is no way I'd ever prefer this over the Wii U version. The controls bug me, and if things get spread out too far it's a strain on my eyes. Megaman is cool to play as, I mainly just have a problem with his side smash. Which is cool because it's a projectile, but also is hard to play as because of that (since I'm so used to not using projectile smashes). I'm also not too big a fan of his special attacks, but that also could just be due to the fact on how limited the demo is. Villager seems like he might be seriously OP. The pocketing special seems like it could be dangerous. His tree thing hits for way too hard. His up and side specials both make it so there's no way he'd not make it back to the stage (he has better jump range than Kirby). The only downside to him I've seen is his smash range, but it's not too terrible. Either way, excited for the 3DS version, even more exciting for the Wii U version.

Bravely Default - I like this game. But I'm so far removed from it and I kind of lost interest in playing it. I recently started to try and pick it up again though. I feel like I've been playing it very wrong. Tiz keeps on dying in like two hits because I don't give anyone shields and use two handed so I can clear out regular monsters quickly (to get 1 turn/no damage bonuses and leave the battles on auto). But boss battles are just brutal on Tiz (and sometimes Edea) because of this. I guess I need to use shields. I noticed this because Agnes is the only one without Two Handed and is a Summoner/White Mage with waaaaay more defense than anyone else just because she has a dumb shield.

This is pretty much all the Hyperdimension Neptunia games. It's hit or miss, and it sounds closer to a miss than a hit for you. The first game, the non-fixed up one was pretty crappy and way boring compared to Mk2 and Victory. I haven't tried the Re:Birth games, but I can't imagine they are too different.

The games break the 4th wall constantly, and it sounds like you don't enjoy that. I find it entertaining, and it gives me something to have a chuckle over. It's not necessarily my kind of humor, but it's one I appreciate a lot, since it's different from what I'd personally go for. The writing, I always thought, was intentionally lame, which is nice, I hate when games take themselves way too seriously. Because most of the time, a game isn't worth taking seriously. I think I'd hate the HN games if they followed suit there.

I don't hate breaking the fourth wall and being meta, its just I don't find the writing up to par enough to actually pull it off well to the extent that it does. It just gets kind of annoying. Its an okay game though. I don't have much of a like/hate opinion on it.

Shining Force is one of my all-time favorite games. When I was younger, I was at Dark Dragon but couldn't beat him, then my save got wiped. Sad days.

I've replayed the GBA remake multiple times. It's a great game.

sims 4 is like a lite version of sims 3... i don't see a difference really. my gomez addams looking guy married some random woman he met while practicing piano near the sidewalk. then, she moved in and brought a "roomate" with her. now the roomate brings home men for the married couple to be mean to since they're both evil. one man she brought back looked like col sanders, so i walled him up in the basement with a grill and four ovens. so far he's only made sushi. we're going to start kidnapping children to have a race of mutants that live under the stairs.

Chrono Trigger.

Also I was thinking of finishing Daganronpa, actually, since Ame brought it up but too lazy.

By Friday all I'll be doing is Hyrule Warriors anyways...until a few days later when Persona 4 Arena comes out... And then a few days more after that when Smash Bros comes out...

So much of Morrowind's music was added to Solsthiem for the Dragonborn DLC of Skyrim. It's one of the most nostalgic feelings I've had playing a recent game.

too much skyrim..

Stop making me want to play Skyrim. I have yet to play Dragonborn too...

Two things:

Fibbage - Played with Bee a bit and brought it to work. Pretty fun, especially with a lot of people. Definitely worth playing if you like trivia games/lying or You Don't Know Jack.

Pikmin 3 - Bee has been playing this off and on lately, and she got stuck so I helped her. Then I started my own game. And then I stopped playing for a few days but it has really stuck with me and I just had to play it today to get rid of that nagging feeling. It's really good, I enjoy it a lot. It's such a unique beast I just love playing it. I played the first two but neither really stuck with me like this game is doing right now. I am so glad I got this game for free with Mario Kart 8. Best deal. I would have bought it eventually, even if it wasn't free, but it would probably be far into the future.

Also spoiler alert in what I'll be playing for the next week: Hyrule Warriors starting tomorrow and until Persona 4 Arena Ultimax comes out on Tuesday and then that until Super Smash Bros next Friday. Ahhh, too much goodness at once.

Recently started playing FORCED.

I needed something that wouldn't require to much mind power to still enjoy, however, I'm thinking of getting the reboot of Gauntlet.

Hyrule Warriors.

I kind of have mixed feelings on this game, as both a huge Dynasty Warriors and Zelda fan. But apparently I've played it for 12 hours on a weekend where I've worked, had friends over, and have just been generally kinda busy. And I still have a lot to do.

I think it mainly matters on how appealing you find Dynasty Warriors. If you're totally against it then no. But if you find it interesting Hyrule Warriors is a good starting point to Warriors games and fits enough different to make it feel like not just a skin of DW.

If you've never played DW I find it very relaxing and rewarding. It's very button mashy and repetitive but with a lot to unlock and a lot of different ways to play. I love them, but I do eventually get bored of them at some point.

But don't jump into Hyrule Warriors just because of Zelda. It's a great Zelda side game, and there is like none of those, but it's still a Warriors game.
