I've started playing Tomb Raider. So far... I just don't know. I find myself more annoyed than anything else. Shaky cam all the time? Really? FFS.

I got mad at Fire Emblem Awakening. But I'm still playing that, kinda.

I also bought myself a new graphics card. It's not amazing (it's a GTX 750) but it blows my other card out of the water. I tried Skyrim, The Sims 3, and Tropico 4. All of them played well on max settings, before I'd have lag with pretty low settings. So I'm pretty happy. I don't really know what to throw at it though, since the majority of what I own doesn't require much. I tried playing Suikoden 3 with PCSX2 and it seemed to run alright. It did lag a tiny bit though. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't optimize anything or if it's just the game itself that's lagging. (kind of doubt it). Also my PS3 controller isn't working completely with it (the analog sticks aren't being recognized) so I gave up. I'll probably try playing something else with it when I have time (or playing Suikoden 3 properly).

Is it the 750ti? I recently convinced a friend to buy that, since he needed a new one, and that one gives a lot of bang for the buck.

Sadly no. I was a bit limited on what I could get since of where I was buying and and the fact that I didn't want to force myself to buy a new power supply too (and the card I bought I knew wouldn't).

But from what I've seen the card I got and the TI aren't that much different from each other.

After playing Tropico 4 yesterday tried Tropic 5 today. It's okay, I feel like 4 is better though.

Also sick of Fire Emblem since I can't seem to get past this one battle without dying. I could probably just send my OP groups out there and quickly win but then I wouldn't get any of the treasure. :(

Just completed Tomb Raider. It was an OK game, but probably not something I'll ever want to revisit.

killed a friendly npc, then used his big blue greatsword to chop a group of axe wielding midgets in twain so i could ring a bell that let me fight a hundred gargoyles at once.

Was doing some missions in EVE and came up against a couple of NPCs that are just impossible to do alone. Like they're made to be that way. So I teamed up with a guy to kill one and it ended up being kind of a hassle, so I'm just going to say screw that storyline and go do something else.

I was lucky enough to be able to play an hour and a half of Civilization V today. What an absolute pleasure that game is.

Started playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf again. Currently in the progress of clearing out my inventory now that I've forgotten why I kept most things in the first place. Clearly they eased back on punishing you for not playing. Did not touch the game for over 5 months and what do I come back to find?!

1 villager left and 2 dandelions grew in my town. Oh the horrors!

My girlfriend has reinstalled The Sims 3. It's pretty funny watching her play it. She is a cruel and merciless god.

I've been playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I want to like it, I really do... but it's just so... boring. I think I'm going to go a bit further, but I'm almost certain that I'll be quitting this game early.

Yeah, I heard. Sucks what happened to them. In spite of my complaints, I can tell that a lot of heart went in to the game. It's a shame they will never get to expand on their ideas.

I've been trying to play XCOM: Enemy Within, but I find myself getting really stressed by it. All I want is a little bit of money so I can build more workshops, but every day or two the council want me to go and mess around with trains and stuff. There's a lot more story missions, and I think they're great, but they're more intense early on then I'd like them to be. Maybe I just suck.

So instead I switch to Civ V and that's much more peaceful. The problem I've never lost a game, and I'm never really sure what exactly it is I'm doing right. I should probably play on harder settings, but I just want to relax and have some time off being ambushed by aliens when I play Civ V these days.
