Maybe we should do a live stream of us playing so that all of the other MPers can watch us die over and over.

I hate to keep filling this thread with my thoughts and experiences with Persona 3 (It must be getting old), but I think I am officially OP now.

I just discovered a cool combo with Incubus/Succubus called Dreamfest.

Pretty much every enemy I've run into since acquiring the ability is able to be charmed, and since it has such high odds of working, I can pretty much kill everything without it even getting a chance to attack.

Only issue is it takes up a LOT of MP, so I can't keep using it... but I can definitely use it several times in one sub boss fight, which is awesome.

Tartarus' difficulty has just gone way down.

The Flick Rush minigame in Dream Drop Distance is really fun. I keep forgetting there's a plot to play through.

i got demon's souls with the hopes that by the time i beat it, dark souls 2 will have come down in price. it's a lot easier than dark souls. i destroyed the phallanx boss, and made it all the way to 10% hp on the tower knight before i ran out of firepower. on the scale of mouthwash to ponderosa steakhouse, i give it a B.A. Baracus out of 10.

Pat from the Super Best Friends was saying something similar recently. He was really hyped for Dark Souls II, went back to replay Demon's Souls while he waited for it, and found that it was a heck of a lot easier after having gone through Dark Souls.

I still need to give Dark Souls a try.

so far as long as i time my hacks right, i don't even get hit. dark souls was really combat intense, demon is more about taking in the big spectacle it creates.

I actually recommend giving BL2 a look. I didn't like the original either, but I got a copy of BL2 a while back and am enjoying it far more than the original.

It's one of those games that is more fun with friends though, fair warning. Solo playing it can be more frustrating than fun sometimes.

beasting demon's souls. some spider jerk kept trying to light me on fire, so i lit my spear on magic and popped him one right in the garbonzo. this is like training wheels for dark souls.

I never owned a copy of Goldeneye. I mostly played it for the multiplayer, and pretty much all of my friends at the time had the game. =p

More fifa 14 along with magicka, i somehow just reverted to being a meat shield in enemies as they all seemed to be attracted to me... plus my team-mates killed me like every 10 seconds... and oddly enough it was by accident and freak occurrences... like being healed but somehow being launched 500 feet in the air.

I'm nearing the end of "The Journey" in Persona 3 (Or I assume I am). I'm in January.

Luckily made a save on the day before New Year's Eve, and was able to see the "bad end".

And the bad end made me think. Does it really matter how people live their life and what choices they make so long as they are happy and can live with the choices one has made? And is the illusion of choice really such a bad thing?

Been playing Super Mario 3D Land (Just 100%'ed it last night) and Counter Strike Global Offensive. SM3DL was really short (But impressive for a 3DS game), and CSGO is really fun.

finished dishonored. it was pretty, and big, and detailed, but very short. beat it without being seem, or killing anyone, and it still only took ~20 hours on hard.

I finished "The Journey" of Persona 3: FES.

Tomorrow, I'll start "The Answer"

I was pretty disappointed by the ending. It was by far my least favorite part of the game. And not because I didn't want the game to end. I did. But I didn't like the ending. It's not that it wasn't well written, it was, and it was compelling and thought provoking. However, sometimes, I just want something... not like what I got.

Spoilers for Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Final Fantasy X below.

Spoiler

Maybe I'm nitpicking or trying too hard to find fault with something that was quite fun for 70 hours, and mediocre for 30 minutes. I did like the game, I really did. And since I paid nothing for it, I cannot complain at all.

But I do wish I had been able to enjoy it just a bit more.

I don't consider feeling less about the ending of a good game "nitpicking". I despise the ending of one of my favorite games because of the way they pulled it, but it's still on my favorites list because the rest of the game was fabulous.

Still plugging away on Dream Drop Distance. I couldn't figure out at first if both of my characters were supposed to go to the same world at the same time, but evidently that was the plan.
