I got Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster in the mail today, so I'll probably play that after the March Madness tourney.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

Since I'm too lazy to change memory cards and I don't have FFX/X-2 for my Vita yet and Bee has commandeered my 3DS for Donkey Kong Country Returns and I don't want to disturb that.

I really like the game, as I mentioned before. Like it's really good, just so boring. The story is kind of interesting but not enough to keep me hooked on the game for too long, and there's so much text/reading. ugh. It's hard to really get interested in the game. I hear it does get better (and pretty soon for me). So I hope it finally hooks me. Because besides it being boring, it's pretty great. I enjoy the battle system and the mechanics and the world and the characters and everything. It's just so hard to keep interest for too long. It's not even like initial Persona boring, where it's basically just 2 hours of talking. I've been doing stuff for a long time, it should be more interesting.

Do you know if it's exactly the same as Donkey Kong Country Returns for Wii? I'd imagine it has better controls without motion, but then again, 3DS does support shaking...

As far as I've read it's basically the same. I think DKR3D has a few additions and slight changes, plus a little worse graphics.

Soon that will be me too.

Although I honestly don't much care for FFX. I think it has a lot of neat ideas and isn't as terrible as some people make it out to be, it just wasn't so amazing that I ever felt to go back to it. But it has been a long long time since I played it, so I'm expecting to either hate it or enjoy it more.

I seem to be getting some nice item drops in Dark Souls. The Fang Boar Helm is nice to have. My Black Knight Sword got me past the Bell Gargoyles and a Titanite Demon, though now I've replaced it with a Titanite Catch Pole.

Presently making my way into Darkroot Garden.

sucks you dodnt beat him by fighting. having souls as a universal currency really rewards you for winning by your own means. there are some good pvp spots at the end where you're fighting on balance beams

I've always loved Final Fantasy X. I've been waiting for an excuse to replay the two games.

And the International Edition being what's remastered made this definite must buy.

I'm up to the blitzball tournament in Luca. Loving it.

Yes. I hope XII gets a rerelease. It's really the only one I've not really played. And it sounds like the type of Final Fantasy I would love.

I think I remember hearing in an interview a month or so back that if they remastered any other Final Fantasy, the next one WOULD be XII (much to everyone's happiness). I don't remember who they interviewed, or how much stock you can put into it... but it seems fairly obvious that XII's Zodiac Edition would be the next one to get the treatment.

I wasn't as big a fan of XII as I was of X, VI, or VIII, but it's one of those games I wouldn't mind playing again.

I've decided Dream Drop Distance has a sucky storyline. I mean it's kind of cool that Sora and Riku get to see two different story paths, but nothing feels "complete". I'm only two worlds in but it never feels like the individual stories get resolved before I leave to head to the next world.

Is Skylanders actually a fun game? It always seemed like a trap to me. A trap for parents to get pestered into buying more and more expensive figures for their kids.

That's exactly what it is. The majority of the characters I have not purchased, my Dad has. He spoils the living daylights out of Rose and I let him. The few that we have here at home are mostly 1st gen. Any other, save for one, my Dad has purchased. A lot of them stay over at his house though.

It is a fun game. It definitely has it's funny moments. It' not like the previous Spyro games, but you can definitely see the influences. I do believe Sypro looks less bad-ass now, but such is the development of a character.

Kinda Final Fantasy X HD...mooooore so Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires/8.

7 Empires is weird because it's a digital only title and undubbed. It's okay, I wish I could get into it but I can't (makes it worse that I can't connect it with my DW7/DW7XL save because I'm playing it via super secret way).

8 is pretty good. I just don't get the Abilities equipment thing. I just beat the Historical route for Wu, I'll probably go back and try the Hypothetical one. I wish there was character specific Musou/Story modes. Even if it's weird, it was a lot more fun that way.

Banished. I like how a tornado can completely kill my town. It takes out at least half my populace and then I don't have enough peasants to work the fields. Then, they all starve to death. Then, sometimes I get a plague AND a tornado at the same time. Thanks, fate...

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

Old flash signature has been revived for nostalgic purposes. Too bad RpgWizard hasn't been revived. :\

Banished is okay but I wish there was more to it. Once you get the hang of it it's either really easy or unwinnably hard.
