ugh, the gaming community is so terrible/gross.
I know people don't like Phil Fish (although I've met/talked with him, and I thought he was cool) but nobody deserves this kind of harassment. Especially for how little Fish ever did. Annoying.

Why do people store sensitive information on Dropbox? Has that not consistently proven to be completely unreliable?

Heh, I suppose you're right. Where I work we keep it in a plastic bin on the sales floor.

Better there than an easily hackable digital source.
I keep all my private information locked away, behind two locks and buried under my bed. And no, the two keys aren't in the same place.
Yes, I'm paranoid.
Dropping down a well that time forgot
With scars that show that we care a lot
In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut
Of the things we'd do and what we saught

Seriously internets, what the fuck is wrong with you?

Who is this guy and why should I care about his opinion? (Don't say he's right, because he is, but why should I care that he likes the game?)

But anyways, I find it odd that he shows a screen of FFVI when talking about choice and tragedy in a game. Chrono Trigger's tradgeys aren't all very obvious (like Lucca's). I feel like FFVI kind of crams it down your throat by actually disbanding your party in a post apocalyptic world and can kill off two major characters by your own choice. There was a good AV Club article talking about it recently:
http://www.avclub.co...gh-its-s-205365
I do love both games though. Obviously I prefer Chrono Trigger, because I find it a lot more dense on replays. Also everything about it feels so concise and polished. Something I can't exactly say about FFVI. Its really obvious when you play the DS game or any port of that, and play the stuff exclusive to it. None of it is particularly bad (the whole true final boss/Dalton stuff adds a lot to the mythos and connections to Cross, which I like), but it really feels out of place and odd compared to the main game. I think that's a huge knock against Cross as well (and just how muddled the huge cast is), which I've grown to really like over the years but it just doesn't hold up to what Trigger is.

He is Jamin Warren, founder of Killscreen, writer and host of PBS' Game/Show (Almost literally Idea Channel for video games), and all around cool guy.
You shouldn't care about his opinions. But watch a few of his videos and see if you like them. I do.

Speaking of Final Fantasy...

Interesting. FFIV also just came out on Steam. Kind of will be neat if they release the rest of the series on Steam as well. A remastered FFVI would be swell as long as it's more in kin with the DS remakes than the Mobile remakes.
