Well, I wouldn't even know how to do that, since there's no option to set the server--at least not before logging in.

Can't you click play offline?

I've changed the settings so that it doesn't check if a player has an account. I'm a bit worried though, we've had a couple of randomers turn up - they haven't done anything bad but it suggests that the server isn't as private as I'd like it to be.

Just need to restart the server.

I don't see a Play Offline option anywhere here... If I log in it complains about not being a premium member, then gives me an option to try again or play demo. Play demo takes me to a thing that says Updating Minecraft Done Loading and then has a bar that's about 95% full, and nothing happens.

So you have an account and it's not working? Have you registered but not paid for the game? If that's the case just log in with any old fake name and it should give you the option of playing offline. I'm not sure why it's getting stuck at 95%, sounds like a problem with your installation.

Installation? What are you on about? You just grab the exe and play it as far as I can see. And the Play Offline option is grayed out if I use a fake name.

The .exe is just the launcher. It downloads and installs the game in your Roaming folding. By saying it's a problem with your installation what I really mean is that your problem is atypical and I have no way of knowing what could be causing it without more information.

I thought I commented on this, but apparently I haven't.

This is the best. Seriously, It's nice to see where I'm at in relation to other players. I can also be a creeper and spy on conversations! Mwahahahaha!

Well, I built a pretty tall and pointless tower. But it's pretty near to the spawn point, so maybe it'll be helpful. I guess it was kind of fun, I found a bunch of huge caverns, one of them even below the tower, so that was neat.

I see a great big 0727 on the dynamic map. I think I may write out a poem for all the monkeycraft ppl to enjoy while viewing the dynamic map. :)

So I tried out the texture pack Sphax. I really like it thus far. Enderman scare the shit out of me though... as if they weren't scary enough.

Pickaxes, a sword, shovels, and an axe. Any armour you need too.

Also: I've found the button to tell the dynamic map to render all chunks. So the map should look better now.
