I was thinking of restarting the minecraft server together with DS.

but there are a couple of things I need to know first.


1: is anyone interested in participating?
2a: do we want to start a new world?
2b: if not, does someone have the monkeycraft backup? our server has been flushed due to no activity/payments
3: anybody want specific mods? like Tekkit?

If it isn't possible to continue with the old world, just start a new one. I don't have any mods in mind but as long as I can create sticky pistons for crazy red stone circuits etc, I'm good

I'd like to participate! I'd like to play some Minecraft with other people. I don't mind starting fresh, and I don't know anything about mods.

so, we up to 4 players right now. good enough as long as activity is alright.

ill set up a 5 slot minecraft server as soon as I can. ill PM you all with my paypal account and/or IBAN international bank number so people can transfer their part to one of those, either automatically each month or just manual. unless you rather pay directly in which case ill provide a teampay link.

i also propose a team made seed for the new world, something like 4-5 digits-letters-whatever per person

any further idea's/input is appreciated

You know how I will pay you. I'd rather have no monsters and maybe it can be a creative world or isn't this possible?
If it's not I still want sticky pistons so I can create crazy shit

I definitely would prefer Survival with monsters. Creative mode bores me shitless.

I'm starting to sway toward wanting to try Tekkit. It looks pretty cool. But I haven't had a chance to play it myself and to verify its coolness yet so it might actually be terrible. Has anyone played it?

Just tried Tekkit and wasn't too pleased with it. So vanilla is preferable for me unless there's any other good mods?

it's still happening. im just been too bussy, sick, work, and stuffed with schoolwork....all at the same time

I've been feeling a minecraft itch lately. I may get involved in this. Though I will have to say that I likely won't be doing any of the server maintenance that I did last time. Not that I minded at the time, but finding the time to do that these days will be trickier.

However, if I do get involved i will help with server costs, of course.

I also vote for a new world.

Still feeling that itch? I'm kind of tempted to put up a server if BOBRACHA is too busy, but I'd feel more confident about doing it the more people are up for it.

You can play it free but only as the guest player. If you buy your own account it will save your inventory and position on the map, which is very handy. I think servers can only have one guest player, but there's ways around that. Last time I checked the price was $26.96

I don't mind buying it. I was just curious if it was necessary or not. I would love to play on the MP server if it ever happens.

Right, well I'll probably set up my linux box downstairs as a server so I can experiment with getting plugins to work (more biomes & dynamic map). And then if all goes well and people are up for playing on it I'll be able to just transfer it to a proper server.

I can't tell if it is one I have to give away or not, but I might possibly have a gift code to give away. At least, according to my minecraft.com profile page. If anyone is interested, PM me and we can see if it works. (Don't get your hopes up too quickly, I make no promises that it will work.)
