I'll have to remember that when I get around to trying a stealthy character. For now, sadly, magic does not work quite as well for misdirection. xp

Top 20 mods so far. I'm going to give the modified inventory menu a try.

EDIT: It's great until you start crafting. The smithing and alchemy menus are just a little finicky, but the enchanting menu is obnoxious.

@stars: i finally found a feather enchantment on Dwarven Boots of Hauling. i wish i hadnt already enchanted my boots to resist shock, because i cant put it on my so far vanilla helmet of headcovering. has anyone gotten the double enchanting perk? can i layer the same enchantment? i want my two swords to be able to absorb more hp

also: lols to mod#15. spiderbears are a way more terrifying. i think i have a new enemy for my game now.....

I'm trying to work my way up to Enchant 100, but I'm only in the lower 80s right now. If you can't double dip an effect, you can always add absorb stamina to the weapon for more power attacks (and less for them).

Also, the feather enchantment can be placed on boots, gauntlets, rings, and amulets. If you don't use magic, there's not a lot of choices for helmet enchantments, just fortify alchemy/archery/lock picking or water breathing.

EDIT: Unrelated...

i got the patch to update to 1.02. it went pretty quick, but the only thing it fixed for me was the lagging issues. i still cannot surrender and go to jail, or loose my bounty in markarth.

Yeah, I've already decided to pass on this update, and instead wait until the next. My experience has been mostly bug free so far. Though, I would still love to rebind my keys...

ditto. only problem I had so far was that I could not open a door after unlocking it, but that was fixed after a few times of going out and back into the area.

I sometimes get frozen in place after leaving an enchanting table, but it rights itself if I wait long enough. I think just once or twice, I'd try to talk to a shop owner, and no dialoue options would appear, but that as fixed when I left the room and came back. Nothing too awful has happened to me so far. Oh, I also saw a mammoth floating 100 feet off the ground one time. That was interesting.

I've seen some legs of already-dead bodies sticking out of the ground, but nothing like that. Ah, and today I saw an Orc fall at me like a ragdoll from the sky. No idea how that happened. He didn't have fancy scrolls on him, sadly. :p

The creation kit for this is supposed to arrive in January along with some handy upload/browse/download thingy for mods. Apparently they're going to continue tweaking the code, fixing bugs and balancing quests until then as well. I might hold off until then and catch up on some other games over Christmas.

I've read that you can still level up and get more perks after 50 but that it's more diffcult for whatever reason. I think the max is level 81 (and 80 perks).

EDIT: That video is more awesome than it should be.
