Tried logging in, noticed a bunch of new horrifying squid monsters, then Spaz joined and everything got super power-point-presentation kinds of slow and I had to disconnect from the unplayableness. Not sure what the deal was. There was also something like a 2 minute delay between typing and when my words would actually show up.

I DON'T KNOW.

Yeah, the squids are a concern. I kind of figured if I ignored them they'd go away. But they haven't. They're only in one area from the looks of it though.

I'm working on the lag problem at the moment so the server might offline for the next couple of hours.

Also Notch has said recently that Server stability is his priority at the moment so things should start to improve.

Turns out it was all them pesky land-squids causing problems. So I've put them all back in the sea and everything is good.

I've decided to keep creepers, but they should no longer destroy blocks when they explode. And I've made their explosions smaller and do less damage.
