Also, I have a spare account if you don't mind being known as DJ_Beardsquirt./>Sad. I was just about to pay for Minecraft too.

I purchased one so I could play multiplayer with one of my friends. (Before I figured out how to not need an account)./>Why do you have a spare account?

But still, I don't mind. I may need a little help setting up a server though. Since I've never done it before for Minecraft.

I kind of feel like I've encountered about every possible bug you can have running a Minecraft server so if you have any trouble I should be able to help you out./>Interesting.

I'll pm you some pro-tips tomorrow if you want to give it a go.

I've realized that it's really counter-productive to spend time building mines. It's far more efficient to find a tunnel and raid it. Tunnel's that lead to deep underground lava caverns are not actually that rare and nearly always lead to diamond. Once you have diamond epic winnage follows.
It kind of makes the game much more like an RPG playing in this style. All that preparing your inventory with plenty of bacon and forging your armour and arrows and then the actual dungeon itself.
Oh! And I also made it to the Nether for the first time. It wasn't much fun.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I've tried out Minecraft in all of the demo capacities, and I still don't really get what's so awesome about it. Also, when I tried the single-player demo, I could figure out how to do anything besides climb stuff and place/destroy blocks. Is there a guide somewhere?
Building stuff is cool, sure, but what is so awesome about building stuff with lots of little blocks when I could build something in full 3D with my own imported textures in SecondLife? Clearly I am missing the point. Please inform me.

You should watch the Zero Punctuation review on it. It's good.

/>The demo demo thing on the site sucks. There is no appeal to it.
