I find that since gamers are as a whole an untrustworthy bunch, that this data will be skewed by fanboys trying to make their favorite games look longer than they really are.

EDIT: For instance, 200 hours for Forza 3? 500 hours for Gran Turismo? RACING games? Perhaps 200 hours to unlock everything or something. Surely there must be some grand prix mod that counts as "beating the game."

they give you averages, so you can get a pretty good idea on how long stuff takes. oblivion for instance, does NOT take 200 hours to beat. but there's a box to check on the form to show if you just beat the game, or you did all the additional stuff too. maybe you could spend 500 hrs in gran turismo unlocking everything to completion.

Borderlands is my drug of the now, and I'm sure eventually i'll start to use 'Borderworlds on a recreational basis as well.'

Having spent several hundred hours with the original, I will most likely get the sequel.

I hope they follow Valve's example and add cross-platform multi-player! That would be amazing. If they do, Kasper, I'll totally play with you.

Speaking of which, will you be getting Portal 2?

Also, does anybody remember the Pollyanna theme from Mother 1? I found an...odd version, to say the least. It's official. It sounds as if it's the theme for a 90s sitcom.
