But all she does is copy me... >.> I think. Not sure if I checked her house again after getting the part back.

That's what you get for taking the easy way out. =P

Yeah, I know.

I didn't want to do it either, because I KNEW that would happen, but, eh, oh well. It's not like I use Confusion much after Psybeam anyways.

Don't you have some TM's or something you could teach it? Can't remember if there are any good ones at goldenrod... besides the game corner tm's.

Edit: heh, I found the doll, then Steven pops up and tells me Latios is wandering around the area, perhaps looking for the soul dew.

Brock's Kabutops almost gave me a hard time, what with it using endure then brock using full restore. >.>

I honestly don't get the appeal of how you play. Having one over-leveled Pokemon that OHKO's everything simple because it is over-leveled sounds...dull.

It unbalances the game a bit, but it's probably what I would do if I had a real pokemon. >_> <_<

I like the endgame, after E4, and everything. Once I get to the Battle Frontier, I'm set. That's when I would start making a final team. Starting on a team during the story makes little sense to me. I can easily level up new pokemon with a run through the E4, and then EV train and stuff too. Things that take far too long during the story.

In-game teams are rarely used as competitive teams. (I tried. It didn't work...)

Mine have worked out pretty well for me.

*Looks at his

Blastoise
Gengar
Alakazam
Machamp
Torkoal
Lucario*

I'll have to wait on this second wave of in-game raisers, though the guy at the back of the Frontier says most of my guys don't really have the greatest potential. Silly thing for my toxicroak to have such high potential in HP. >.>

I just remember trying to use my in-game Diamond team to battle at the first Poke-Place. They had a severe weakness to Torterra. <_<

xD.

Anyways, went to the Potential Judge at the Frontier and he told me why my team was doing terrible in the trainer house in Viridian.

Most of 'em only had a 'Decent' potential rating. >.>

Anyways, these are the potential ratings I've run into:

Decent
Above Average
Relatively Superior
Outstanding

With these rating for their best stat:

Decent
Very Good
Spectacular
Couldn't Be Any Better

Only three of my pokemon have an Outstanding rating, and those are Mewtwo, Zapdos, and Lucario. And Mewtwo has a neutral Nature but a CBAB in Speed. =D
I do have a good half box full of Relatively Superiors and another full box of pokemon with CBAB in random stats that I can breed onto others with the bracers.

Cuz now the bracers transfer the IV for the stat they raise onto the offspring (so up to two High IV's passed on), just as the everstone transfers the parent's nature onto the offspring.

I read that as "is a CRAB in Speed." Then the happy face confused me, so I went back I read it properly.

Lol, yeah, i tend to read it as CRAB as well. I say we make 'me interchangable.

Lucky me, I bred a relatively superior squirtle with spectacular def. =D

Current team:

Gyrados level 22
Alakazam level 26
Flaffy level 28
Weepinbell level 22
Quilava level 25
Togetic level 23

I may get rid of Quilava soon. Trying to actually use a grass Pokemon, because I neeeeeeever do, but I'm about to kick Weepinbell off my team too. Although I really don't have anything to replace either of these guys with. I don't want to use Magmar or Vulpix, because I'm just going to eventually replace them with Charmander...so...

I also would prefer Magnezone to Flaffy, but since I have no means of getting one other than cheating...meh.

Man, the more I play this game, the more I love it. I swear the AI is way better, plus the movesets are pretty good. I've had some Toxic/Stall used on me, and priority moves when I'm in the red. I love it. I think they definitely tried to please hardcore fans, and I think they did a really good job.

I agree. and I have to admit. the trainer with the trio of evolved starters raped my team several times when I was playing around with the members. I actually did better with the pokemon I raised and fought the e4 with and not some of my raised imports. X.x Which was when I decided to double check their potentials and found them lacking. >.<

So I've been participating in the Pokethlon (however it's spelled) since the beginning of the week. One of my team has managed to win all of the medals, and another has all but one. Working on getting records in the remaining four challenges I haven't gotten yet in order to unlock the next room. Still need: Pennants, Snowballs, Block Smashing, and Lamps.

I haven't trained my Pokemon in a good while, being so distracted with the other aspects of the game. But I'm enjoying myself a lot, even if I am falling far behind my rival. :p
