Okay, went ahead and beat the elite 4, with only will and Lance giving me any trouble. Lance much more than Will. Aerodactyl really shined against the lower leveled of Lance's dragonites, freezing one and allowing me to revive and heal others, then taking 'em out cuz it's speed and attack are awesome. Didn't really do so well against gyarados, who gave me a hard time, though not quite as hard as an Outraging lvl 50 dragonite. >.<

Heh, Gallade ended up coming through for me a lot too, and could have easily taken out Bruno and koga by himself. I opted to give some other pokemon the experience points.

Just beat the E4. Only one that gave me any trouble at all was the dark one, I forget the name. Everyone else was pretty much OHKO'd by Alakazam.

Anyways, had beaten Surge, Erica, and Sabrina last night and arrived in Cerulean, with no misty in sight, then went to sleep. Now I see I had to do that stolen machine part thing at the power plant first... I think. I just recovered it. Lol, Gallade helped so much. Specially against surge. Swords dance then psycho cut/leaf blade swept his team. then helped against erica. Then I let Toxicroak do most of the work against the psychics in sabrina's gym. Yay, sucker punch!

Edit: yup, she showed up at the cape with some wuss that ran off when I showed up. Misty needs a real man.

BTW... Celadon's Dept. pwns the saffron city one. By a lot. Dude, I LOVE the tm's you can buy there now!

It has become apparent that Whitney's Miltank and I are continuing our history of disliking each other immensely. Oh don't get me wrong, Miltank and my male Pokemon get along extremely well - too well, actually, and I really don't see what they see in her. All the time. She infatuates them and then stomps on them repeatedly, and yet they are "immobilized with love!" ...

I also realized that I left my DS in my room, and it makes me kind of sad because that means if I want to play it, I have to trek back to get it after class...

Well I evened the odds and went up against Red right now :P After spending some time in the Battle Frontier, I thought it was time to take down Kanto. Swept all the gyms easily with Alakazam. None of the gyms stood a chance, unfortunately. Alakazam with Psychic, Hidden Power (Grass), Shadow Ball, and Charge Beam wins. I even OHKO'd Red's Pikachu, no crit or anything. Remember Red's Pokemon are all L:80+, I was definitely at the disadvantage here :P

I really don't want to go after Red because you have to waste a slot for an HM slave to use Rock Climb and/or Waterfall. So right off the bat it's 5 vs. 6 in his favor, then there is the stupid Hail condition in effect. I'm only at around level 55 for my entire team so no way in HELL am I going after Red with those odds.

And now my roommate is starting to surpass me in levels for my team even though he started two weeks later than me. A) Half his team are legendaries which I refuse to use during the story as it makes it too easy and B) the other half are Pokemon I traded to him and so level up twice as fast because of it. It's only a matter of time before he wants to battle me with a team containing Lugia, Mewtwo, Groudon, etc. and him thinking that's a "fair fight"

Heh, I just pack legendaries on my team for when Alakazam falls, since legendaries are generally higher than the other Pokemon on my team at any point in time due to me usually just training one during the story. They're good enough walls for some revive/full restore turns.
