I dunno. I just remember some commercials about switching from PS3 or 4 (I don't remember which) to the vita to continue playing on the go. Then nobody really talked about it. If it worked well, I could see it being a really awesome feature. Even if it only worked for older games.

There are games like that. Ones that are "cross-save". You have to use cloud saves to take advantage of it. The only games I've really ever seen use it are indie games (because they tend to be cross-buy as well) and Final Fantasy X HD (for some reason). I think Borderlands 2 does it. I think part of the reason why no one talks about it is because the Vita doesn't have a great selection of games. If you don't like Indie or JRPGs you really don't have anything. But if you do like both those things it's probably the best platform for them both (although the indie part can be argued because of the PC).

Today I played a lot of Super Mario 3D World. It's so damn good.

I am now officially addicted to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. It's not even trying to deck myself that I've been drawn into. I keep wanting to play to get better gear and skills to help my friends when we play. I want to be the best support hunter! This has so much of what I love about multiplayer games.

I am now a KOTOR COMPLETOR. I've only had that game for, what, a billion years? I actually own four copies of it. Disc, Steam, Origin (Was free, so why not?), and Google Play. How strange it is that the release of the mobile version is what compelled me to complete it (Even though I still did most of my playing on PC).

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Help, I tripped and fell into The Old Republic and can't get out. Send aid.

And spice.

Seriously though I am having entirely too much fun running around as a smuggler and kicking people in the nuts. Especially the giant robots that it has absolutely no business working against. I spent a solid hour playing with a friend in Delaware, and doing nothing but running up to mobs with the trademark battle-cry of "NNNNNNNNUTSHOT!"

Best. Stun. Ever.

Though the jetpack-assisted shoryuken from the Bounty Hunter class is definitely a runner up for "best move"

You know, I was really surprised by this. I didn't like it at first, but the more I played it, the more I appreciated it. I think the problem I had at first was how uninspired and short the first few levels felt, but really, aren't all Mario games like that? The final boss is actually really great and not even frustrating.

I started Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. I spent about 4 hours running around killing everything. I haven't touched the story yet. This is basically everything I want out of Assassins Creed games. Strange how the best AC game to come out in years isn't even an AC game.

I love it.

Disgaea 4.nice knowing you all.

I loved Disgaea 4. But fuck, post game stuff is such bullshit. I'm not talking getting the extra characters. I'm talking about all the grindy shit you have to do to do things like being able to do 10 billion or whatever it is, damage for a stupid trophy.

Life is Strange. It's pretty good, if you're into the Telltale sort of formula. I always love when games or movies take place in the pacific northwest, since that's where I'm from, although it feels like it's trying to be a quirky hipster indie film with some of the dialogue. It's not too bad, though, and the rewinding time gimmick makes for some interesting puzzles/dialogue options.

Plus, episode 2 opens with one of my favorite Alt-J songs, so, that helps.

i am NOT fucking around for 47 more hidden trophies. i got it from the library, i'm not keeping this, i just like getting high and playing anime fantasy chess.

Inspired by this reddit that i spent way too much time reading today, i picked up sims 3 on ps to imitate life through art, and torture avatars of people i don't like. i've played it on pc, but i get bored staring at a computer.

I played Life is Strange with my friend. We play it once each new episode comes out on my monthly visits.

We played the demo for Episode 1, and it was the first demo to actually make us want to buy the game in question when we were on the fence.

We finished Episode 2 last night and we do not regret it at all.

We love the ability to go back and change decisions, because we are wildly different people and have different opinions.

Very wise. Disgaea games are wonderful.

I'm just wonderfully OCD and love collecting trophies (I have something like 16 platinums?)

That moment is a good example of what I was hoping for from this game, even if it is maybe a little "convenient" to the plot. I'm hoping your decisions end up being meaningful, even though in most games like this, they kind of aren't. We'll see. I love where it's going, for the most part.

I'm loving it too, but many of the "choices" in the game seem incredibly inconsequential.

The ones that are important are obviously so (have the red blur on the screen that stops time so you can make a decision while the options flash to pressure you into a choice).

So far, my favorite decision in the game...

Started playing Lili: Child of Geos. It's kind of charming in a way, but also feels like an early ps1 game... I don't know that I'll continue.

Is been way too long since I lasted booted up my Wii, so to remedy that I've been playing some of Kirby's Adventure on the Dream Collection, plus a bit of Donkey Kong Country Returns.

EDIT: And some Sin & Punishment: Star Successor while I'm at it.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf has taken over my life.

Also a dose of Final Fantasy: Record Keeper. For a free to play game, it's pretty good. I enjoy playing it in short bursts.

That's it...today I decided I will neglect all the games I want to play to finally finish Dragon Age: Inquisition. I've been trying to juggle work and games and failed miserably. From now on I'm a one game kinda guy.

Still cycling through Wii games. Currently back on Trauma Center, and a level called "Caduceus on a Plane" came out of nowhere to make me lol.

Still Animal Crossing: New Leaf once in a while and Final Fantasy: Record Keeper.

Record Keeper really got me in the mood to play some of the SNES Final Fantasies so I tried to play Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection for the PSP and just couldn't. It literally has the aesthetics of an RPG Maker game. Which isn't always off putting for me, but in the context of a Final Fantasy game...uhhhh. I'd prefer if it just looked like it did on the SNES personally. Too many bright colors and roundedness kind of breaks the gloom that surrounds that game. Maybe I'll give it another chance because I haven't played Final Fantasy IV in a long time but...maybe I'll just try another version.

Also tried to pick up Final Fantasy VI Advance as I never got too far in that game, and that was the last good SE re-release of that game.
