I've been playing Gran Turismo 6 and F1 2014, this week.
Mainly because i had an urge to play racing games. and they were relatively cheap compared to normal psn standards...
Gran Turismo Licences are still as annoying as ever to all gold.... Especially when you repeat the same test over 100 times with your best time being 0.004 too slow...
F1 2014 is pretty fun, I may have made the career mode less fun for myself by picking the worst team.... so basically the two races i've done so far i came 12th and 8th, and I'm supposed to aim for 20th.... The course of the races so far is pretty much... Spend the first 30 seconds of the race trying to get ahead of cars in the chaos of the start off.. Spend the next hour furiously defending my position because my car is slower and turns worse than all the others.... Fun times :P

Punch Out! for the Wii on the Wii U. Nintendo is digitally releasing Wii titles and the first three they are releasing are half off the first week.
Once I learned from Glass Joe it's all about the counter-attacks, I was doing really well in the first two circuits. None of them were a breeze and it was fun to figure out the fighters' quirks. Then I reached the World Circuit and that Irish bastard! Guy moves around like an angry, drunk...Irishman! Finally beat him after practicing against a hologram for 20 minutes and man was it satisfying. Then came Bald Bull and just...it still hurts.
Not "conspiracies". Conspiracy. Singular.

I beat Murdered: Soul Suspect the other day!
Playing time: ~10-15 hours
Pros:
- Great concept! Play as a detective trying to solve the mystery of your own murder in order to finally be able to “move on”.
- Plot! The main storyline was filled with numerous twists and turns, and held my attention from beginning to end.
- Unique way to uncover your own backstory! Find and collect “memories” as you progress through the storyline.
- Atmosphere! Everything has a consistent, intriguing look, mixing a modern suburban town with ghostly specters of the past.
- Side-quests! Help other ghosts move on by using your skills to solve their own personal mysteries.
- Lots of methods to solve the mystery! “Possessing” people (and occasionally animals) around you was just one neat way to help unearth all the clues needed to find the solution to each event.
- Demons that needed exorcising added an element of suspense that the game really needed (though they scared the hell out of me every time ._. )
Cons:
- Side-quests. I wish there had been more of them! I think I found, maybe, three? (Note: This doesn’t count the mini-story tidbits you could uncover in each location. Try as I might, I was unable to find all the tidbits in even one of the locations. ): )
- Lighting. It was often difficult to find all necessary clues because parts of the room were so dark, they hid even the pop-up icons. (Note: May be solved by fiddling with lighting options, which I didn’t do.)
- Length of game! I didn’t play this game for long bursts, yet I still managed to beat it in a few days. I wish there had been more to do.
- Save features. The game offered you three options: “Resume game”, “Restart game from last checkpoint”, and “Quit game”. If you quit, all unsaved progress would be lost! Yet the game made no effort to point out when ‘checkpoints’ were reached, leaving me constantly nervous that if I turned the game off or died, I’d have to replay entire storylines.
- Controls were also a little clunky, to my disappointment. I often had to approach things two or three times from different angles in order to finally be able to click on them.
- And finally…The. Font. I loved the idea of all the memories and information scattered around town, but pulling them up on screen…I gave myself headaches just trying to read them! ): The font fits well, there just really, really needed to be a way to make it larger.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this game for anyone who wants a quick, interesting mystery to solve. The characters are interesting, the voice acting is great, and it’s really got the feel of an old-school crime novel. Just don’t expect the game to take up too much of your time.
Aaand now I'm back to Dragon Age: Origins!

I've been playing Catherine, just cause I donno. I've had a copy of it forever, and I've been on an Atlus sort of thing lately. It's kinda neat. I recognize a lot of the voice actors from Persona, and I think it's even made by the same team, unless I'm mistaken. The story seems interesting so far, and the puzzle-climbing is more fun than I thought it would be, although very difficult sometimes.

I just played through the first episode of: Life is strange. It's an really awesome game where your choices/actions have consequences in the future of the game. I highly recommend it!
It's in a fantasy setting.. like D&D, magic, elves, dragons..no hockey
I think this is my favorite comic ever already.

After my glorious return from California, I plugged in... NBA 2k15. Seriously, just such a great game.
I also downloaded (thanks to PS+) the PS4 version of Rogue Legacy so there goes about 25% of the reason I play PC anymore.
Seriously, if PS4 ever offers Civ V, I might just stop playing my PC entirely.

I finished A Link Between Worlds a while ago, it was really great. It had some problems but for the most part I really enjoyed the time spent in it. My only real complaint was how samey it was with A Link to the Past, and while obviously it was supposed to be a sequel, I feel like it would have stood fine completely on its own. But once I stopped trying to reconcile it with A Link to the Past, I really began to enjoy it. I still wonder about the castle and other dungeons changing, though.
The ending was probably the best Zelda ending of any of them. Like, it felt like things were resolved (unlike OoT) without being rushed (wind waker).
Speaking of Ocarina of Time... Man, Naomi was so into Link Between Worlds, so when we finished it, I thought I'd buy OoT3D to keep the pace going. And I've realized something... That game is horrible.
I'd complain more in depth, but Egoraptor said exactly my thoughts here:

I'm in the second season of my MyCareer mode right now.
It's so much fun to actually be able to win games without having to play Kobe-Ball.
I had a crap list of teams to choose from when I started (I ended up choosing the Bucks, mostly because they have the Greek Freak, but he's so useless in the hands of the CPU), but now, I hit Free Agency (which seemed weird to me, but then I remembered, the selling point of this career mode is you went undrafted, and they don't follow the same rules).
I got to go to my favorite team, the Bulls on a short contract (I like one-two year deals in sports games, I hate being locked into staying somewhere if things get boring), and three games in, I've beaten the Pelicans and the Wizards, two teams I never beat with the Bucks, without having to put up 50 points and jack up an insane amount of threes.
It's nice to feel like my team has a chance to win.
Also, shoutout to creeper coach Doc Rivers, who just decided out of the blue that he was going to kick Coach Thibs out of Chicago and take his spot. That's totally cool I guess, I mean, at least that has no impact on how the game goes.

Oh yeah, i forgot that I had one complaint about A Link Between Worlds. Okay so you know all those mini-dungeons that are in Zelda games? You know those places that are just behind a pile of rubble on the overworld, or under a bush or whatever? In this game, instead of containing something cool like a heart container (Which are typically just on the overworld, but in a place that's hard to get to) or the cool, extra items (which have been moved to dungeons--and that's great!) they just have rupees. Rupees on rupees. And you know, it doesn't take long to buy every one of Ravio's items, and then max out your rupees, and while exploring the mini dungeons is still fun, it's kind of a huge let down when the goal turns out to be 200 rupees.
Or, to put it more politely, "Neener neener."

yeah i know what you mean but I ended up on the pistons to start and they actually had a good center, which mean offensive rebounds and lots of assists when he was up by the net. but yeah i still had to put up like 30-40 points a game but I actually made it to the finals and in game six leading 3-2 I was down by 2 with a second left my teamate put the ball in my hands without me even calling for the pass and I drained a three. fucking sick.
anyways I didn't want to have to be a lone star again so i joined the Cavs in the off season. I don't care that i made less than other places were offering I wanted to play with Lebron. plus a really good Point guard as well(I'm a shooting Guard)
I can't wait to fire my agent.

I made my character a point guard, because the AI in past games has been so hilariously bad that I can't rely on them to move the ball around properly unless they are trying to score on me.
But really, my point guard has always functioned as more of a shooting guard that slashes to the basket but can also pull back for three (think D Wade). I joined my team (the Bucks) far too late to make an impact. We were in dead last with like 30 games to go (although I did finally become a starter, and we went like 17-13 the rest of the way to finish two games shy of the 8 seed). Had I been the starter all season, we probably win and make the playoffs. But I didn't feel like coming back to a team whose best player outside of me is another point guard.
In the offseason I got huge offers from a lot of teams, including the three I liked most, the Bulls, Clippers, and Pelicans.
This'll sound stupid, but what pushed it over the top for me to go to the Bulls was a crappy cutscene where Jimmy Butler came to visit my house. Once I saw that, I knew my character would want to play for the Bulls.
The Clippers gave me a huge offer that was for three years, and worth the most VC per game (I forget the exact amount), and it was tempting, because they didn't have a backup PG. I liked the idea of calling Paul and Griffin teammates, but in the end, I liked the idea of getting to play with Jimmy Butler (who is such a joy to play with since he actually does things), Nikola Mirotic, Doug McDermott (I love driving in, drawing the defender off him and kicking it out to him for an easy 3), Pau Gasol, Joakim Noah, and Derrick Rose on rare occasion.
I still put up big numbers (I put up like 20-30 points, 5-10 assists, 5-10 rebounds per game) on the second highest difficulty setting, but I don't HAVE to do that for our team to feel like a contender, and I love it.
The one problem I have with playing for the Bulls is that when Derrick Rose is on the court, he never passes me the ball. I don't mind so much because he fucking wrecks everyone's shit, and I can usually pick up the rebound when he DOES miss, but it's still rather irritating for my awesome PG to be left out of the offensive scheme when a ball hog is on the court.
I'm hoping by the time my contract is up, the team dumps Rose, and uses the ridiculous amount of money they are paying him to bring in a SF (like LeBron, who is only on a two year contract in my career) that can do more than pull up spot up threes. I love the PF and C situation, I love the SG we have. Just get me a good SF for a good chunk of the game, and I think I can wreck everything.

Our friend left his PS4 here...for like a week and I played through Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls addition in 4.5 days. On normal difficulty. I am an awesome wizard. Since the PS4 is still here, 3 weeks later, I started getting into Destiny. I haven't dabbled in it much. When VP has his computer upstairs I tend to play Pokemon ORAS (yes both of them). That's been my life in video games.
Oh! Rose got VP's DS for her birthday and she is not playing Pokemon Y. She loves playing Pokemon Amie.
