I never beat any of them. Since my PS2 broke. And I only ever played a bit of 3.
But no, 2/3 are not like episode 1. I like episode 1 the most, overall. I forget exactly why, but 2/3 lost a lot of what I enjoyed in 1.

Just played through To the Moon. That was dark and it made me sad. :/
We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

Lego: Harry Potter Years 1-4
Because screw expectations, I want to play a really fun game.

With scars that show that we care a lot

Of the things we'd do and what we saught

Right with you, legacy. Sometimes you just need to play a game that's a...game.
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
Having a blast exploring this game again. Playing with the gamepad is super nice, too, because I can change items and check the map without pausing. And super thumbs up to the Tingle Bottles that replaced the Tingle Tuner. Some of the messages I find on the ocean are hilarious.
Not "conspiracies". Conspiracy. Singular.

Finally got Ni no Kuni and gave that a try. So far it feels like I'm watching a movie that occasionally requires my input. I just got my first familiar though, so it should start feeling more like a game soon, I expect.

Once you leave the real world it starts chugging along. I should play more of it though...

I have spent most of my life since purchasing Prison Architect playing Prison Architect.
It's not even challenging anymore. I just need to make better and better prisons. ugh.

I need to get back to it at some point, I only have like 2 or 3 more trophies to get before I get the platinum for it. Really solid game.

Bought, played, and beat Gone Home just now.
Short and enjoyable if you like stuff like that. I liked it a lot for what it was. I'm curious about how much of the game I actually explored though, like if I missed anything.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I've been playing XCOM Enemy Within, since it was on sale and I had never played it before. It is kicking my ass. I had a really great ironman playthrough where I was several missions in and nobody died. Then on one mission, like twenty thin men spawned out of nowhere and shot through seven walls, instantly wiping my squad.
I think it's time to take a break or try a more babby-level difficulty.

Did you get the secret ending?
No, but now I want to find it.
Today at work someone brought in their N64 so we played Super Smash Bros, Diddy Kong Racing, and Goldeneye during lunch.

Gah! I was just about to defeat Tinker Knight, and my laptop froze! T_T
It feels like it's been a while since something like this happened...
EDIT: Tinker Knight himself wasn't too difficult (entertaining, but not difficult), but his stage was an ordeal.

Over the past few days:
Evil Genius: Fun but so hard.
King of Dragon Pass: I have no idea what is going on in this game but it's interesting.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 2: Played for a bit then got frustrated and quit.
Shovel Knight: Played this on my Wii U, wish I could play on the gamepad and not use the TV but eh. It's fun though!
Breath of Fire 4: Playing after a loooooong hiatus. Need to get into the mood again.
Also Mario Kart 8, as always.
