It's not even Nintendo stuff though (...aside from one amiibo). She's usually pointing at my ponies when she asks. :p

Mine's more my younger sisters asking me 101 questions about who is who and what they do... It's pretty hard when you've got generic pony #68 and they ask who they are and you just role with it...  It does however leave me to get humorous comments from my mom.. and a mlp birthday cake a couple of years ago... lol

im writing a thing, but im getting stuck. what kinds of things would wizards say without being too much like harry potter? who are some good wizard archtype characters who say wizardy stuff? i have no idea how to write a wizard without him being like "by odin's beard!" or making up gibberish spells for them to cast. im listening to a lot of carl sagan, and just substituting magic for science, but that won't fly for very long.

Yeah, that definitely happens too.

What kind of setting? Ye olde fantasy? Modern times but with majiks?

In that case, you have many options. Magic Sagan is definitely a good one. You could go mystical hippie. Magic Sheldon Cooper. Magic Comic Shop Guy. Ice King. I could keep going.

EDIT: Magic Walter Bishop.

Every time a kid comes into our store with their MLP build-a-bear, I always admire them and mom's always super impressed/surprised that I know all the pony names.

I want them all

How about some character designs from brutal legend?, Also you could just make up your own language.. as most magic based stuff seems to use latin when using spells

Sounds like you've got this under control. You'd better rap it yourself then post a recording.

I don't get it. Does that not count as a goal? How does Japan win? What on earth is this?

I went to Anime Expo last weekend.

Here is some of the junk I got:
tumblr_nr2lgjxauA1qzyv21o1_1280.jpg

I also got some Persona shirts/sweater, lots of bags (including a Persona bag), more pins and stickers and prints from the artist alley. Maybe other stuff. Other stuff Bee got (mostly Animal Crossing related).

Stuff I did:

  • Went to a panel put on by animators of Big Hero 6. Which was pretty cool.
  • Went to panels for Bandai Namco JRPGs (where they announced Digimon Cyber Sleuth yesss), NISA (they didn't do anything but I like them anyways), and Aksys games (Where they announced Zero Escape 3 and dropped the mic and left).
  • Went to a panel with Keiji Inafune/Eiko Tanaka where they announced the Red Ash Kickstarters.
  • Saw an exhibit of the art of Little Witch Academia which was really neat! I have images but can't post at the moment.
  • Saw another exhibit of Nenodroids which was cool.
  • Spent too much money.
  • Didn't see Anamaguchi with Porter Robinson because I was lazy.
  • Went to an Evangelion event. It was a bit underwhelming (since I had to pay for it). Yoko Takahashi performed some songs, and there was this band called Alice the band that was okay. What I remember most was this awesome cellist named Eru who did not get enough stage time at all, she was amazing. Also the VA's for Asuka/Rei were there.
  • Played Smash Bros against Cristina Vee (Compa, Sailor Mars) and Christine Cabanos (Nepgear, Sailor Saturn) and lost badly.

It was fun. Wish I could go back next year but MP-Con is more important. :P

I accidentally left youtube with autoplay on while I was in the bath. I was listening to one of Mystery Skulls' albums when I left my computer and when I came back, youtube had apparently taken me to a two hour documentary called 'Hell Encounters and Testimonials'.... Just... what? Why? What lead to this?

I'm tempted to hit the back arrow a couple of times to see this weird ass progression.

I finally got around to playing around with the booze I got from Clearance Liquor Day at my store (it's basically the closest thing to Christmas that most of us get to experience). One of the mixes turned out pretty nice!

-A couple liberal splashes of lime juice
-2 parts sour apple Smirnoff vodka
-1 part Bombay Sapphire gin
-3 parts Ginger ale
-Served on the rocks

The end result? More or less Sierra Mist. A very, very potent Sierra Mist. Some of the gin taste still bleeds through, but not enough to be a hindrance. With enough tweaking, I can probably get it perfected. I mean, it's not like I was going for precise measurements here, this was kitchen chemistry at its most basic level.

Guys I can get 2gbps fiber internet now!

Except it's from Comcast.

Also it's $300 a month.

Also it costs at least $1,000 to set up.

Also it takes maybe 2 months, maybe longer.

Also I have to be within a third of a mile of where the network currently is.

Yay the future! Yay Comcast! Yay cable monopolies!

so this new thing called space is pretty neat, there's some neat stuff in there boy i tell you whut

take pluto for example. 1 pixel= .4kilometers, there is more data coming to give an enhanced view of over 140,000% to 1 pixel= 70 meters

ZsSfx69.jpg

Charon is pretty cool too

0tFagHj.png

probably my favorite part of this is how much charon and pluto are kind of the same color, and are a binary planet system, so maybe this means it was formed in agreement with fission theory?

and check out those mountains and erosion formations!
