we're gonna need a new MAG image next year. Who's voting for whom? i don't think Jim Webb would have lasted for more than 10 minutes as president, and I'm equally disappointed scott walker's campaign failed. I was really looking forward to that canadian border wall. I bought a new microwave a few weeks ago, and it had a poutine button as one of the presets.

I have a 3DS now.
Also Pokemon X, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
Yeah, it finally happened. I got a handheld after years of putting it off.

Nice.
You should get Bravely Default and Fire Emblem. As they are tops. That Paper Mario game is meh, the only reason I'm not more disappointed with it is because I bought it for $5.

I'll be picking up Bravely Default and Fire Emblem (and a zillion other RPGs) when I get time and money. For now though, I only picked up my most anticipated titles, ones to help acclimate me with the system itself, since I haven't used a handheld in like a decade.
I've been so busy with work, I actually forgot I was a member. I'm up to 10 dollars an hour (thanks California!), and just got done with a ridiculous streak of high hour days.
Now I'm finally back to working about 20 hours a week.
I'm going back to school starting next week too.
So much life.

Whoa! That's amazing, homie! Congrats on the new job and (re-)starting life!
It turns out, I actually LIKE working, too. I mean, when I wake up, it kind of sucks, cuz I know I have an 8 hour shift in front of me.
But once I start working, I forget I was ever disappointed about waking up. It feels good to occupy myself, and do something to help the economy/community move along.
The weirdest bit is I'm working retail, the one thing I was warned never to go into.
It has its lows, but retail is not nearly as shitty as I was told to believe (I've only been working about 3 months though, so that's subject to change). While there are lows, the moments when you genuinely see a smile on a customer's face honestly does make it worth it. Because you feel like you positively impacted someone's day.
The other day, I actually got a great compliment from one of the customers.
She was 40s I'd wager, and I helped her like I help every other customer. Once she was checked out, she told me how helpful I was, and how I was the most positive and cheerful person working retail that she'd ever seen (which is super strange, since I'm used to people calling me the very opposite, although I guess it's plausible I'm a different person at work). She then went over to my manager to tell him that, and it apparently took like 5 minutes, since I didn't see her leave until 5-10 minutes later.
My co-worker came over to congratulate me on getting such high praise.
Stuff like that really does make things much easier to deal with, like when I get a customer trying to bitch at me because I won't give him a two month old discount on shoes.
My life has really turned around since coming to California. Opportunities are everywhere, and for once, I can actually seize them.
I was wondering for years what I was doing wrong, but I actually think I may have been right, that there just wasn't any market for me.
If I were to ever return to NH now, I feel it would be very easy to fend for myself, since I now have the one thing I was lacking, that I desperately needed. Experience.
But I'd rather not return. 10 dollars an hour is much nicer than 7.50.

Been to Austin once when I was a pre-teen. Didn't care for the heat.
Everything I know about Bulgaria I learned from The Elusive Mrs. Pollifax.

Well it's not going to be hot, with it being winter.
Also I'm not sure what to take with the second one. Does that mean there's a lot of mystery that goes on in Bulgaria?
