You mean you just want to close the lid? You can control that in power settings (if you have Windows 7).

No, but judging by your reaction I'd say young. I love that you actively create multiple personalities for this site. That's pretty rad.

Haha, I don't know if it's anything quite that lofty. They were a couple of fun (for some?) personalities from a little-known DS game series and I felt like messing around~
But they're basically both kids, so...

This puts a big grin on my face.
I've been seeing these signs all over the place for a year or so, sometimes in rather baffling locations, and I'm glad someone did something clever to handle one of them.

Tomatoclock almost killed Muscle Mummy by spiking his drink with xanax, but luckily Mighty Mummy eats garlic and lifts weights. im debating on whether or not to give him the 'Ol 1-2 Shovel to the face, or if i should get him to load up on all kinds of super illegal drugs, and then notify the authorities. he tried to get me to go to Chinatown with him to snort adderall and do ketamine, so either way he needs to be removed. thoughts?

Stupid post office.
I want my game, but I don't know where my package really is. It says it's been in town for about 2 days now, but is not at my local post office. I live in a pretty big city, so there's like a dozen posts offices...so I'm obviously not going to drive around bugging them.
It says it should be at my house on Friday, but oddly something that shipped at the same time, same shipper, got here on Monday (even though it said it'd be here Friday). But I totally didn't want that thing (it was an Opera CD I bought for free shipping). I don't know if I should complain or not yet, it shouldn't be here, I guess (based off of the expected date). But I totally don't see how it can be sitting there for just days. I have had almost no problems with USPS, but this is bugging me.

This is one of the benefits of living in a small town. I know where my package is, and though it hasn't been "delivered" yet, I know it's at the post office and that I can pick it up later today (my mailing address is a PO Box, because I have no mailbox or anything to put things in. Also, I live on a mountain. Most people don't want to drive up mountains to deliver packages.)
Funnily enough, I got the fastest free shipping I've ever had. It usually takes a day to go from PA to Mass, then another day to go from Mass to CT, then another day to go from CT to ME, and then one more day to go from ME to my PO Box.
This time, it went from CT to my PO box in a span of only like 10 hours. It skipped two days over entirely. Very pleased.

That's what I used to be able to do when I lived where I used to live. And I even tried it here, but I realized it's not at my local post office for whatever reason. It's in a whole different zip code than mine, one with apparently three post offices and on the other side of the city. So I'm giving up. I just hope it gets here by tomorrow. Still nothing has changed except they got it on Monday.

The few times I have used USPS hasn't been terrible, but hasn't been pleasant either. Sometimes the clerk is really nice, but then the package gets to me/person I'm sending it to late. Or the opposite happens where the clerk is a total ass, but the package arrives on time.
letters seems to be a whole different beast. I send out certified letters, for my job, all the time. My work pays for the cost, but it takes close to a week for them to confirm the person got and signed for the damn letter. It's a pain.

Really? I have never ever had a problem with USPS. It's actually the least problematic of any shipping service I've ever had.
Except for this.
And interestingly enough it started off as being shipped by UPS and is just being delivered by USPS. So I also don't know whose fault it is.

Yeah, I prefer USPS myself. Up here, I only get USPS or FedEx. FedEx usually blows in comparison to the USPS.
Never had UPS ship me anything, even though I know they can.
