Just realized the irony of my taking both an antibiotic and a probiotic at the same time this morning.

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I think Keuring cares less about people actually buying their pods, and more to licensing the ability to companies like Starbucks and Pete's that will pay the money just to not lose that part of the market.

Coffee is serious business.

royalties are serious serious money makers. Polypore Int'l is expecting 20 million a year in royalties if Tesla builds their Helios One Gigabattery plant in NV.

If people with Keurig brewers are worried about cutting costs, they probably shouldn't have gotten a Keurig in the first place.

I didn't want to put this in the Brilliant YouTube Thread because this isn't brilliant. I just want to say, I'm totally trying this on my old clunker.

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

You won't regret it. Linux is awesome! Ubuntu is okay, but it might be easier to start with Linux Mint, since it supports media files like MP3s and such right out of the box.

really? my windows 7 laptop did that too.

more gigafactory investment news

Panasonic is supposed to have a large roll in the factory construction as well, currently their stock is around 12.50, near the yearly high of 13 something. the graph looks good for the week, but roll it back to three months and you can see that there is some pretty heavy variance between 1/1 and 3/6 (today)

Pro-tip: invest in time machine. Travel back in time, invest in bit coins, the WWE, and Apple. Sell the stocks now for all three.

i went to ikea today. it's really a frustrating place because there are hundreds of stupid people who have no self awareness whatsoever, mixed with the sadistic one way floor plan, and it's like being digested with a bunch of other really slow moving food. if you're obese, or have three kids, or are just really impressed with shiny surfaces, then stay the hell away from ikea because you stopping in the middle of a crowded walkway to fuck with whatever personal baggage you couldn't leave in the car is what makes it a horrible place to visit. dad walking around carrying a kid that communicates by shrieking? check. three obese women with empty carts standing around staring at lamps? check. assholes who get off an escalator, or take one step outside a door, and then stop dead in their tracks with 30 people behind them because they can't handle the taxing mental operation of walking AND figuring out where they want to go at the same time? fucking check. then you go out to the lot, and there's only one way in and out for cars, which is right by the front of the building, so while all these slackjawed yokels are walking outside with glazed over expressions, you have 40 other cars trying to use the same street that the people need to cross to get back to their cars. swedish efficiency team my ass.

tl;dr stupid/slow people make shopping a baffling ordeal.
