Costco's are $1.50 but they're like a foot long and come with a refillable fountain drink! :) I get one every time.

IKEA is garbage that people think is great because they get to put it together themselves.
It's called the "IKEA Effect" when we assign a higher value to something when we have the vested interest of manual labor.

Sorry Sweden, you just couldn't make good furniture. On the plus side, you still have the Nobel prizes and fantastic looking women.

I was under the impression that lots of young Americans moving into their new apartment are so jazzed about IKEA stuff because it's so cheap.
Reddit is in love with IKEA.

IKEA has a similar deal, and I think it's cheaper, but I've never eaten it.
I have some IKEA stuff, mainly tables. I'm not in love with the table, but it does what it's meant to do. It's not great quality, but for the price it's okay.

The IKEA I went to in Holland had fant-...well, the hot dogs were so-so, but they were only 25 cents.
There was an IKEA about a mile away from where I was living in the Netherlands and I was told by the school that it was a good, cheap option to get breakfast since it was one of the only places in town that served breakfast. I ended up going only once because the majority of people going there were regulars and had a system and I did not fall within that system, and because it was heavy on the meat (sausage, sausage patties, eggs, fried eggs, fried steak) but way too light on fruit.
Not "conspiracies". Conspiracy. Singular.

Maybe it was because we went in the afternoon, but it seemed like the one we went to only had hotdogs and soft serve (10 cents).

I dunno about the God thing though, that's a lot of pressure. Unless I just do it Haruhi Suzumiya style. I suspect that that isn't the case though

Never buy a Toshiba laptop.
What was a manufacturing defect and should have been repaired was not covered by warranty. So since the company didn't want to rectify their mistake, I ended up converting my laptop into a desktop.
I found an old monitor screen, keyboard, mouse, and headphones. The laptop is resting with closed lid and no free USB port (or HDMI) under my desk, and I now have a flat "tower" to serve me.
And now I'm happy.
Never buy a Toshiba laptop, even if it's on sale.
