I hesitate to post this in this particular topic since it's Call of Duty, but Advance Warfare has me more interested than any of the last several games in the series. Mostly because of the near-future setting.

This game looks like Spore but more Sim City-esque. Which sounds super neat to me.

I can't really ever get behind anything Kojima, but I still find this very curious.
The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I stumbled upon this game (Literally, thank you stumbleupon.com)
The game has potential for beeing amazing, though it runs the chance of falling flat like a flan in a cupboard

Yes private, thats exactly it. War's over, we won.
Turns out you're the big hero and we're gonna hold a parade in your honor.
I get to drive the float, and Simmons here IS IN CHARGE OF CONFETTI!!!

Yeah, even if it doesn't work out perfectly, I think I'll still buy it and give it some time. I want more of that kind of stuff.

Oh wow, this game has changed a lot, and definitely for the better!
Or, to put it more politely, "Neener neener."

I really like No-Man's Sky's look.
I really want that.
Dropping down a well that time forgot
With scars that show that we care a lot
In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut
Of the things we'd do and what we saught

No Man's Sky sounds really cool but it'll probably be a huge disappointment.

I feel like the only way it could disappoint me at present is if it crashed all the time.
Or if it jumped out of the screen and shat on me.
Or if it brainwashed me into only liking that one game.
Dropping down a well that time forgot
With scars that show that we care a lot
In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut
Of the things we'd do and what we saught

I guess that depends on how much you really expect out of it. If you actually think that each world will be 100% unique and the creatures and plants on it will be procedurally generated, you'll be disappointed. But as long as the ship control is tight and private servers are possible, I'll be pleased.

But if it's not that then what is exciting about this game exactly? Flying? You can fly in a bunch of games, and there's a lot more interesting space sims coming out than this.
I don't imagine this game will be bad, and I can understand the hype, I just don't think it's ever going to be as good as the hype is making it out to seem.

if there's a ps4 launch bundle for it, i'll take mushrooms and livestream the game.
