That's interesting. The narrated story thing is neat, but strange to limit it to only a male character (Especially from a developer made so famous for character creation). It can't be due to the challenges of writing either gender neutral dialogue, or changing pronouns when appropriate. After all, Bioware have been doing this for years, and very successfully.
Although, and no it's not mentioned in that thread, I do kind of like the idea of playing though the story as one character, making change through out the world, and then starting as another character after all of the main story quests have ended. I doubt this is will be in the game, but it would be neat.
I suppose we'll know in two weeks just how much of that post is true.
