As someone who watches a lot of shit. Trust me:

short seasons >>>>>>>>> long seasons.

Especially if you are going to get lots of seasons.

Long seasons are full of filler and not so worthwhile episodes. Short seasons are fun and exciting and the best things ever because all the best ideas get to be used and honed to become perfection.

It just had me worried that it might be the final season since Fringe's last season will be its first short one. I only watch a few shows anymore, so I don't have as many things to draw comparisons from.
