Hello, everyone. My name is Puffin, and...I am...an addict enthusiast!.

This is not the kind of addiction enthusiasm! that is easily noticeable, I'll admit, so I'm not surprised that you may not know this. However, I feel that the time is right. Right to confess. Right to admit what has been in my thoughts for quite some time now.

And maybe, just maybe, I shall find other lost awesome! souls, others who find themselves addicted enthusiastic! as well.

Not that original crap (it's not crap, it's just outdated, I swear).

I'd confess more and delve into my fascination and love of the MLP,but most everyone here so far already knows that. If I find anything cool though I now have a place to post it. Bronie, away!

I missed an episode?! How is that even possible?!

I was looking for more audio dubs like my favorite ones using 300 and Inglorious Bastards when a video used footage I had never seen before. I figured out which episode it was I missed....but still! How?!?!? This is madness!

I have now officially seen the pilot episode. :)

I enjoyed the fact that they've kept aspects of the original show, while at the same time aren't making a huge deal about it and have enough differences that it's clearly its own thing. When I heard the first few lines of the opening, I was excited to recognize the original theme song, and then it launched into a more modernized tune, which is a little catchy, though I think I'll come to like it more as I watch more episodes.

The characters all have their personality differences, but I'm especially a fan of the fact that their diversity isn't so huge that they can't get along or do things together (duh, because otherwise they wouldn't get along, and this show wouldn't be titled "friendship is magic").

I have a tiny issue with the pacing of the pilot, but obviously this is a children's show and is supposed to be happy-go-lucky (it's for that reason that I was pleased to see slightly darker undertones mixed into the pilot) so I understand that Twilight is going to end up being best friends with the others by the end of the first episode. I'm sure that things will slow down a bit in future episodes.

While originally I had my doubts about the art style, I find that it's actually cute in its own way.

I also find this Spike way more adorable than the original. He's seriously the cutest thing ever.

From the pilot alone, I'm leaning towards Dash being my favorite, followed by Fluttershy. But I've been known to change my opinion after getting a bit farther into a series, so we'll see if this order stays the same. (I actually find it interesting; before watching the episode, when I could only base my opinion on pictures from deviantart, I thought Applejack would be my favorite.)
