One of these days I'll read the Wheel of Time books. Y'know, whenever I run out of other stuff and need to add 10,000+ pages to my collection.

EDIT: Ack, I already have somewhere around 10,000 pages of unread books (figuring an average of 350 pages each, not that I actually calculated that). I should be good for a while. xp

Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis are doing a book signing this month for their second book, so I'm finally getting around to reading Wildwood. (Yeah, only put it off for about a year). It's pretty standard fantasy stuffs, but that's about what I expected from it, and I love the Carson Ellis drawings. It's good.

Just read the next-to-last volume of Negima, which concludes the last major story arc. Even reading an official English translation through in one go, the final confrontation still makes no sense...

On book two of the Homecoming series by Cynthia Voigt. Finished book 1 the other day.

I hope to finish this book tonight and unearth my copy of The Inner Sanctum, one of my favorite books. =)

I just finished reading all three books of The Hunger Games. I still have mixed feelings, but honestly I don't see how any other ending could have worked.

Spaz, that's pretty much how I felt, too...loved book one, then felt the series went increasingly downhill for me.

I've been reading like crazy lately. I finished both of the books I mentioned in my last post, and then I just finished Escape From Warsaw, by Ian Serraillier.

I have no idea what book I'll bring with me to work tomorrow, but I'm currently blasting through The Book of (Even More) Awesome, by Neil Pasricha.

All of you Haruhi fans should read these books if you haven't already. They're great fun, and you can get through each one easily in a couple days

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds, and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far and no further!

The Lost Mission, by Athol Dickson.

The content of this book makes me think I wasn't supposed to enjoy it as much as I am. And yet, I am! I almost put it down to finally start reading House of Leaves but something made me keep going, and I'm glad I made that decision.

I read the entire Percy Jackson series over two months. Now I'm on the second book of The Heroes of Olympus (the sequel series).

And to think I never fully did any readings for school this semester...

I got a Percy Jackson box set a while back, but I only got a little way into Lightning Thief before getting distracted by other stuff. I ought to go back and try reading them again. (Though they have to contend with the rest of my formidable to-read list...)

I like them all but the second book, which was a little dry as far as conflict goes. But as you go on into the series, it's pretty awesome.

Oh, and the movie does absolutely no justice. In fact, it couldn't have been a more terrible movie. The kid's not even the right age! So don't go by that.
