I've been reading a book called The Adults by Alison Espach.
I really like it, and it's amazing how the book never seems to end. XD Though I'm getting really close, finally.

I've been reading Brightly Burning by Mercedes Lackey. I've had the book for forever, but never got around to reading it.
I had mixed feelings on it, since, whenever I looked at it, it never really stuck me as something I'd like (it was gifted), but both Kamau and SHE kept saying it was good (or that the author was good, something like that). Conversely, my mom and sister both said that the book was 'eh' when I started reading it, so I didn't know what to expect. So far it's pretty good, though, but I keep wondering if it's going to suddenly slow down or something else to warrant the 'eh'.

Mercedes Lackey is hit and miss. Lemme know how you like it, and either way I'll shove some of my favorite Lackey books at you. :) (Along with the book I'm currently reading, because it reminds me of Cathy Lamb's writing style.)

So I found a bunch of Zelda manga at my hobby shop, I picked up the Link to the Past one and I'll start reading that soon. Cool find, but there's no Wind Waker or Link's Awakening?

I really like Brightly Burning, but I hope the other Lackey books you have don't end as sadly. :(

I am currently reading Dust of Dreams, the ninth book in the ten part fantasy series Malazan Book of the Fallen. Each book is really thick and there are a lot of them, but if you like fantasy and take the time to read them they are very entertaining! Does anyone else read fantasy novels? :)

Last night I started A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursala K. LeGuin. Technically I'm re-reading it, since I read it in the 7th grade, but considering that was like... 16 years ago, I figured I would give it another go.
I finished The Forever War, and thought it was pretty good. I don't know really how to feel about it, but man, a lot of authors sure were worried about the world going all socialist. And maybe it's just the sucker in me, but I was glad that the book (Not too much of a spoiler)
The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I have never read either of those I will have to check them out. Happy endings are always good in books, but not when the happy ending is to predictable. Some books are sad through the whole book but its obvious it will turn out good in the end, which is sometimes not as exciting as a book that you don't know what to expect at the end.

oooh, you guys are making me think I should re-read that this year, maybe before the movie comes out.

Got back to listening to audiobooks because of Game of Thrones. Which is what I'm listening to.
I wish I had time to actually read read, but this is great too.
By the by, before I stopped I listened to a few more Murakami novels. After Dark and Dance Dance Dance.
After Dark is eh. Wish it was longer and more developed. It felt very incomplete.
Dance Dance Dance was awwwwesome. Seriously I might like it more than Norwegian Wood or Sputnik Sweetheart...or anything, for that matter. I very much enjoyed the cast of characters and how everything develops. I don't know if it's just because I wanted it to last longer, but the ending kind of petered out, but at least it felt complete.
I also listened to a bit of The Wind Up Bird Chronicle but I kind of lost interest. I'll probably go back to it though, either reading it or listening to it.
