My vote is on that you watch Ouran High School Host Club next. Few things have ever made me as happy as that show does. And it's short and not drawn out, which adds to my glee.

^I agree with Jody, Ouran can pretty good!

but out of the list you gave, I would say Negima since you're not into watching Air.

Well, I am in a fantasy mood. Perhaps I'll go with Negima after all.

And what the heck is Ouran about, anyway? All I've seen of it is a trailer that left me scared and confused.

I had heard good things about The Prestige (like comparisons to The Illusionist, which I love), so I finally rented and watched it tonight.

Didn't much care for it. It had some interesting ideas, but both of the main characters were despicable and increasingly unlikable as the movie went on. =/

I thought there was a thread for it but I can't find it (Read: It wasn't on the first page and I'm sure as hell not looking for it) so the new episode of Futurama. I got really excited after the time machine episode, but these last two were big letdowns. The show has become another Simpsons, which is sad because for years the Simpsons has just been another Family Guy.

Family Guy, on the other hand, surprised me on Sunday. At least, I think it was Sunday... In any case, it was an episode from this year that I actually enjoyed a lot. Way to go Seth.

Also, I'm watching the last season of The Office, because I missed it, and... It's getting really weird. Pam and Jim aren't at all the same characters it seems, Michael seems like... Like if Michael were playing the role of Michael Scott, that's what he seems like this season. I'm still really enjoying the show, it's just sort of weird lately. I don't know, maybe I'm just reading into it too much. Also, what happened to Toby? I haven't seen him in a while.

Really? I enjoyed the latest episode of Futurama. And the robot episode, until the ending.

The latest episode reminded me of like Three Hundred Big Boys or The Farnsworth Parabox.

The Katz episode was dumb, but it had The Brain so whatever.

I was rewatching episode of Futurama from past seasons...and I really don't see THAT much of a difference in quality between some of the new episodes and old. Some episodes, like the first three of this season, and that stupid Katz episode...yeah...sure...but it's not like the previous seasons also didn't have horrible cruddy episodes as well.

Annnnnd you have to remember, this show is on such a low budget now, being on Comedy Central, it's a surprise they can continue to be still up to par (at least I feel like they are.)

The quality of the show is the same, sure, but the characters have all been completely Flanderized. It's like every character is a parody of the character they used to be, especially where Bender is concerned. I haven't made a final decision on this season yet, as I'm still enjoying it enough, I just don't like how everyone has become so over-the-top.

Oh, wait, man.

I just realized I'm an episode behind. Bleeeh. So I don't know how much I like the latest episode, actually.

I hate being lost in time.

So I started Entourage the other day and already I'm half-way through the third season. It's HBO's The OC. And I love both HBO and The OC so I am very happy.

Now, after watching a couple of episodes of this, I leave my house and feel so hollywood and cool. I make hilarious references to 80s B-Movies and snort coke and make pathetic attempts to chat-up models and all the while I tell myself "I must be cool, I'm doing everything they do in Entourage!"

Ouran's about this group of boys in this super rich school that start a "host club", which is just them sitting around in this room that all these girls come to. The point of the club is to please all the ladies who come in by flirting with them shamelessly. They mistake this girl for a guy and blackmail her into working in the club with them because girls that came to the club liked her (as a boy) so they keep her gender under cover. It's just hilarious. It's really the best thing ever.

I saw a little bit of that show the other day... and, well... um... I'll just say that the only thing I liked about it was that John Di Maggio is voice acting in it. On a side note, the animation is so horrible to look at that it makes me wish I had some fatal illness.

That's a lie. The animation is fluid as hell and is done by the same guy who did The Venture Brother's animation and storyboards last season.

Maybe the graphical style isn't that great, but I find that to be more subjective.

I was initially resistant to it, but that's only because of the state Cartoon Network's been in the last few years. I watched it for the first time sometime last week and I have to say it's a breath of fresh air. This is what cartoons were like when I was a kid, and I'm glad to see someone unafraid to make a cartoon the way cartoons should be made.

The show just comes together so perfectly, every aspect seems perfectly sculpted to bring the atmosphere of the Adventure Time world to life in just the way it needs to, from the drawing style, to the (as Ken put it) fluid animation, the voice acting, even the pace of the story telling really draws you in to care about the characters beyond what joke is coming next. Truly this is a triumph of the medium, and I eagerly await Mondays now.

Yeah, I randomly decided to watch Ouran a while back, just on a whim. I have to say, my expectations weren't that high when I started but as I progressed through the series, I was pleasantly surprised. I actually found the characters interesting and the plot enjoyable. Good stuff.

Anyway, I've been re-watching Big O. I love the Noir elements and the epic soundtrack.

I agree, Adventure Time rocks the socks. I recently found it on TV while randomly flipping through channels. My parents were like "wtf is this." But I was like, "exactly. it's great."

Needless to say, it was too awesome for their eyes to understand.

^ahh, i completely agree. it wasn't intentional; from what i heard (which may or may not be true), they expected it to be picked up for a third season. when it wasn't, they had to wrap it up quickly, and the second season was left open ended should it be picked up again.

anywho, i'm watching toradora right now..and oh gosh, this is surprisingly nice. i love it!
