I've finally gotten to the point in FMA where it differs greatly from the anime.

I am enjoying it. I'm actually anxious to get to the next episode already.

I just watched a documentary called We Live in Public. It's a biopic on a dot com millionaire called Josh Harris who battles to express his terrifying totalitarian vision of the future and, like any great artist, suffers for his endeavours.

It's filmed by Ondi Timoner who directed another very good documentary about The Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre called Dig.

Both won awards at the Sundance Festival and both are well worth watching.

Day Of The Dead. I've never been able to watch it all in one sitting due to not having it, but now it'll happen for real!

It's been so long since I've watched this, I have all of the ...Of the Dead movies except that one. =(

Oh and I don't think I have Night of the Living Dead anymore, I think someone took it. So that's sad too.

So, I don't know if it's because it's new to me, but FMA Brotherhood is better than the other anime. It ends today in Japan, because the manga just ended. Sadness.

Yeah, I need to catch up on that.

Also, I watched Serial Experiments Lain in one go. I loved it. It made me wonder wtf was going on half the time and had me laughing due to the craziness. Good stuff.

Just started Book 2 of Avatar earlier this evening.

I'm surprised at how good it is, considering it's a Nickelodeon show from the aughts.

So out of boredom I finally started watching Bored to Death. Great show. I love Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis. Plus Ted Danson is pretty great too. Defiantly worth watching. It's a good blend of Comedy and Drama (leaning mostly on comedy). And has some pretty great cameos (John Hodgman, Patton Oswalt...)

I also watched Summer Heights High. It's an Australian Mockumentary and I must admit I was surprised in how much I liked it. It started off slow...and I never really grew to like Jonah's character or story (although admittedly he had the best ending), but Ja'mie and Mr. G's stories and characters are just fantastic. It is an extremely dry show...so is Bored to Death, KINDA. But enjoyable, I think. Especially if you like (early US or UK) The Office and hate High School.

I'm also regularly watching Bullshit, Boondocks (so good lately), Futurama (bit disappointed by it to begin with, but it's picking up), Last Comic Standing (which is really just something to waste my time watching on a Monday night), and rewatching Daria.

Movie wise, I watched Lost in Translation and Fantastic Mr. Fox with BLU the other day, but I'd seen them before and loved them anyways. And before that, Memento and The Vicious Kind. Memento, is, well, Memento, amazing. The Vicious Kind, which I hadn't seen before...was...forgettable. The story was meh, the acting in general was meh, everything about it was meh. The ONLY redeeming part in that movie is the fact that Adam Scott is a damn fine actor and was enjoyable to watch in it. J.K. Simmons too, to an extent, but he kind of had very little screen time or lines anyways.

I'm hopefully seeing Inception on Friday. Can't wait.
