Oh, that's fine. I won't lead you guys astray like that. If there's something to find in the room and you inspect it, you'll find it. Is anyone going with Xteven to Kasper's room?

"I'll check with you," Stars answered Xteven. "I don't know what to look for, but perhaps something will reveal whether I really did come upon him by chance last night."

[Xteven Xavier]

"cool," Xteven said back to Stars, "It's searching time."

 

Then they entered the room and began to root around in Kaspers belongings.

there's a lot of um... private stuff... in my suitcase, and i'll probably have to answer for it.

The three enter Kasper's room and start looking through everything. Stars moves toward the suitcase, but Kasper intercepts him, "Better let me do it." He says. When he opens it, he cranes his neck away, and a huge cartoonish boxing glove pops out. Kasper lays out everything in the suitcase, several changes of clothes, a couple rubber chickens, a box of Gentleman's Unlubricated Single Use Monocles, and strangely, no clean underwear. Nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever.

Xteven looks through the dresser supplied in the room, then walks over to the bed and flips the mattress up, exposing a brown handled pocket knife. Xteven examines the object, pulls out a screwdriver extension, a can opener, and finally, the blade, stained with blood.

[Stars]

Stars notices the knife that Xteven has found, and before anyone can make the obvious accusation, he says, "I don't remember Kasper having a knife when I saw him standing over the bodies. Granted I had just woken up, but I'm fairly certain he wasn't holding one." He considers for a moment before adding, "Especially since I don't have any knife wounds after finding him there.

[Puffin]

After searching over his and Kamau's room, Puffin rejoined the others in Kasper's room, just in time to see Xteven find the pocket knife under the mattress. "That's Kamau's knife- he had it on him last night!"

[Xteven Xavier]

"How did you come into possetion of the knife Kasper?" Xteven asked while watching him closely. "And why is there still blood on it? Haven't you at least heard of cleaning up after yourself?"

 

"I don't care how the rest of you vote, I already have my mind made up unless you have a really good explanation Kasper."

[Weiss]

Going to kspr's room to see what the commotion is..

"So yeah... I'd like to hear your explanation for this shark week knife kspr.."

Tyri would be more enthusiastic about finding the killer but the lack of sleep, wouldn't allow it.

somebody obviously hid it there. why else would somebody do that if not to frame me? it might have been sombedoy's knife, but that doesn't mean it was their's uniquely haven't any of you seen 12 Angry Men? 

[Puffin]

After thinking about it, Puffin sighs. "Kasper has a point. Even if he were the killer, why would he take the knife? It's not as if we could trace it back to him if he'd just left it with Kamau. It wouldn't make sense for the killer to stash the knife in their own room, where it would easily be found and linked to them. Even if the killer had the intention of using the weapon again, there are public places- like a bathroom or the kitchen- where they could have stashed it and it wouldn't easily be traced back to them. Either someone is trying to frame Kasper or he's shit at covering his own tracks."

[Stars]

"I'm with Puffin. I'm not convinced that Kasper killed anyone. It's too...obvious. Besides, who will keep our spirits up with shenanigans while we figure this out?"

Stars looked around to see who else followed them to the room, checking for one person in particular. "I'm still not so sure about Kiki. She's too quiet. It makes me nervous."

[Puffin]

"That I agree with. Besides being quiet, do any of us even know her? Say if this ghost stuff is just some kind of crazy set up- who's more likely to be a murderous psychopath, someone we've all known for years or the girl who just randomly showed up?"

[Weiss]

Well to be honest i'd think that someone i'd known for years would be more capable of killing me and my friends than a random stranger.. Mainly because you wouldn't let a random stranger who acted a bit on edge to really be near you lol...

I'm honestly more concerned about how we had 3 deaths,, and nearly a forth.. Though that makes me suspect stars

(also this is different from any other mafia i've played so if i'm saying things that are impossible let me know)

"I did?" Stars asks, confused. "Anyway, I can't really prove that I didn't kill anyone, but I did try my damnedest to wake everyone up when I saw dead bodies in the hall." Speaking to Tyri specifically, "And if Lazlo and the others were attacked at night, presumably while they slept, I don't know that they would have had much choice in letting their killers get too close."

 

((Also, who was your question directed at, Kasper? Tyri or myself?))

Theoretically, Stars could still be evil, I know it's a low percentage but this isn't conclusive.. I'm just making sure that we don't just assume things.

How was i missing and unaccounted for? I understand not being accused but i fail to see how that makes me guilty, I mean it really doesn't make sense to me, Just looks like you're willing to blame anyone now... You could have hid the knife in your own room as a double bluff as well. Jus saiyan

Throughout the day the argument continued, and the residents would drift in and out of rooms fighting with each other. The sun was starting to set, and they knew that they had to make a decision soon.

"Alright, guys, we have to decide on something before night falls. From what I gather so far, we have one vote against Kasper, two against Kiki, and two people who have named a couple of names. Anyone else care to speak up or clarify their vote?"
