[Puffin]

Puffin had no idea what Xteven intended to find in the attic, but she knew he must have been desperate for some kind of answers, which was a sentiment he could empathize with at that moment. He didn't think she'd find her answers in the attic, but taking a closer look at Kamau and Spaz might give them a hint that would lead them to the murderers. It was hard to look at the carnage, but he tried to investigate as best he could in the hopes she'd find some clue. He check Kamau's body first, then Spazcat's.

Knowing what had to come soon, Stars posed a question to the group at large. "Did anyone else see or hear anything in the night? Anything...suspicious?"

 

EDIT: Getting no immediate response, Stars sighs. "I will say I'm a little suspicious of this new girl. She's been awfully quite ever since we arrived. I'd almost think she doesn't want to be noticed."

Xteven climbed on the large plate and it began to ascend to the ceiling. He smiled at himself, oh what a clever boy he was. As the bottom of the plate cleared the ceiling, he realized he hadn't brought a flashlight. He heard the sounds of machinery all around him, and attempted to step off the plate--Except he couldn't. The plate was in a tube, exactly the size of the plate, still moving up. He wondered what was going on, then felt something pressing on his head, harder and harder. The plate was reaching the roof! He felt along the smooth surface of the tube that surrounded him, feeling nothing but a plate-sized opening in the wall that he knew it would soon pass through. He tried yelling for the plate to bring him back to the kitchen, but it was of no use. The pressure was too much, his bones began to break, his brain leaking out of his nostrils and ears. He was gone, and a ring of blood was forming on the floor of the kitchen beneath him.


After thinking through that elaborate scenario, Xteven decided not to climb on the plate, and instead told it to go away.

Deciding not to take a ride on the elevator of death he decided to storm off to the basement while clutching his absinthe taking deep drinks of it. 

 

While in the basement he started smashing things in his grief. 'this is the first time i died before my friend I'm pretty sure' having no idea where that thought came from.  While smashing everything he could find that was in the basement he found his wits. 'Perhaps we should search every ones rooms to see if anyone is hiding something that should point us towards the killer.'

 

He headed back upstairs to try to call for a vote on whether or not we should search the rooms of everyone. "Well?" he said after explaining.

[Stars]

Stars didn't mind one bit delaying the other vote. "That's not a bad idea."

[Puffin]

"I think that's a good idea, as well," Puffin agreed.

the house is the killer. we should burn it down before it gets us first

[Xteven Xavier]

"Well. I'm hearing four who say yes including me I'd say that's enough. let the search begin. (Lazlo)

[Hyperlisk]

"Wait for me! Wait for me! I don't feel like being left alone here... This place is horrible!"

The residents all go toward their rooms to start searching, but since no organized search was decided upon, and nobody wanted to accuse anyone else, everyone just went to their rooms and looked through their own things.

[Stars]

"Guys, this is getting us nowhere. We need to be more specific about this. Let's start with the victims' rooms." Stars leads the way to Lazlo's room for starters.

[Hyperlisk]

"I think I'm going to follow Stars. He's alive... I'm alive... And we share a room. That sounds like better odds for me..."

[Puffin]

"I'm not sure what we'll find in the victim's rooms- I'm not sure that there's anything in mine and Kamau's room, but anyone's welcome to check," Puffin said. He hoped there was no sign that Kamau had been attacked in their room. It would make him uneasy to not only think that a murderer had been in her bedroom, but that Kamau struggled against them without him even waking.

"It'll be more efficient if we split into groups and search the victim's rooms that way. I'll search my room, anyone who wants to join, come with me."

In Lazlo's room, there were obvious signs of a struggle. One of the bed posts had been torn loose, and was laying near the door. The lamp on the bedside table near the window had been knocked off, and obviously, the window was broken. There was a spattering of blood on the windowsill, but otherwise, nothing worth noting.

In Puffin and Kamau's room, Kamau's bed was still unmade, his suitcases stacked neatly in the corner. If you didn't know better, you could almost expect him to walk in the door any minute. It was clear that he had left his room prior to being killed.

In Spaz's room, the scene was much the same. She had left her bed at some point in the night, but didn't seem distressed. It seemed odd that she left her door open, but there were no clues to be found.

I don't know what to make of this.. Except for the fact that being in a different timezone whilst having a sleeping pattern devoid of any rationality is making me miss out on the interesting parts of this game.... So by said standards... I should be looking through my underwear draw

"Hmm better not let xteven see these.. he's always had a thing for leather"

[Hyperlisk]

"Maybe we should see if there are any clues in Lazlo's room. Whoever did this may have left something behind. Uhm... Anyone want to go with me so I'm not alone? :("

"Considering the odd behavior that Kasper has been exhibiting I'd say there is definitely going to search his room, all I wanna know is who's coming with me man? Who's coming with me?"

"Maybe we should see if there are any clues in Lazlo's room. Whoever did this may have left something behind. Uhm... Anyone want to go with me so I'm not alone? :("

I did see that, but that just sounds like an overview of the room, not a very detailed inspection. Which is why I wanted to go check it out. Oh well, though.
