Leggy takes a sigh, and realizes no one else is going to say anything. Feeling the responsibility thrust upon him, he says,

"It really sucks to say this, but I don't have any information on who could be a zombie.

So I can't in good conscience accuse anyone. Our odds of randomly choosing a zombie are not very good at this point in time. And if we just randomly killed an innocent, we'd just be hurting our own cause.

It sounds counter-productive, but if no one has information, then the smart thing for us to do is to abstain, unfortunately."

EDIT: ((Legacy posted while I was typing. One sec while I edit.))

Stars listens to Glace and Legacy with a grim expression.

"Actually, I do have some information. I didn't want to say anything since I've been trying to convince myself that none of this is real, but...I saw something last night.

Stars holds out a battered history book to show everyone.

"I went to the library last night to see if I could learn anything about this place. I didn't learn anything useful from this book, but I did see someone else out of their room. I'm pretty sure he didn't noticed me as he made his way over to BottomGuy's room, but I watched him go inside and...well, you've seen it for yourselves."

"I tell you now that one of the zombies is...Legacy."

"As put off as I am about the accusation, I have to thank Stars for finally giving us something to discuss.

Have you ever considered that maybe, I had my own role? While it's true I left my room last night, it wasn't a mission of avarice. Rather, I was out looking for a zombie myself. I however, didn't find anything, so I didn't bring it up, hoping to buy myself another night of investigation.

However, your accusation forces me to out myself.

Now, I'll likely die tonight, should I not be lynched by flimsy reasoning.

However, my death tonight would ensure the other innocents would not die tonight, giving us an extra turn, and chance to find the zombies.

I continue to abstain from a vote."

Puffin looked warily at Legacy. "So, you walked into Bottomguy's room, in the hopes of finding a zombie?" she questioned, "I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't find anyone there, considering what we woke up to."

"Frankly, I'm with Stars. There's no way you could have been watching out for Fox and have failed to find anything out, so that must mean the only reason you were in there was to do the deed yourself."

"I never walked into Bottomguy's room, I walked past his room. Stars seems to have left that out of his 'report'

I'm beginning to suspect Stars, but I think he may simply be a misguided innocent at this time."

EDIT - Need to add more, my phone accidentally pressed submit

Leggy points at a map of the mansion,

"As you can see, Bottomguy's room was here. I went to the room beyond his, Xteven Xavier's. I was hoping to see Xteven Xavier out and about, but he was rather asleep. So if nothing else, I guess I can clear his name in death."

Glace sighs.

"This is always the tough part isnt it? We've grown close this convention Leggy, despite all that's happened. I respect you as a friend.

But... Stars is saying he saw you go inside Bottomguy's room. You are claiming you walked past it. The odds of you being that close to a dead man's room and not being a zombie are slim."

Glace sits down and rubs his eyes for a while. He then looks up directly at Leggy.

"I have to vote to lynch you."

"well now, I must say I slept soundly through the night but i'm taken aback by the fact a zombie watched me sleep. And it's even more disturbing i'm alive if that is true. I'd love to think this takes me out of the equasion as a killer but the fact that you just shared that when evidence is pointing towards you makes me look guilty as well. That being said my only hunch was thinking it may be monkeydog yesterday but then he was dead this morning." Xteven then pinched the bridge of his nose in thought.

"i'm sorry leggy," he said with a forlorn expression, "but I trust stars on this one. I vote for you as well."

"Glace has a point..." Kamau says, still looking uncertain. "And if you weren't a zombie, you were still wandering around last night and somehow didn't see anything or get attacked. The way BG and Monkey looked...I don't think the zombies would have decided to leave you alone, especially if you were so close to one of their...kills."

Uncertainty changes to sadness. "It's hard to make a vote like this, but...I'm going to have to agree with Puffin and the others. Sorry, legacy."

Speaking up for the first time, Jody clears her throat authoritatively.

"Leggy could have gone out to check on anyone at any time, but he decided to at least walk by BottomGuy's room. One of two who died, out of 15ish people. Leggy claims Stars omitted the part where he only walked by, but Stars specifically said he saw Leggy go into that room. It's not the strongest evidence, but where else can we go from here? I have no desire to kill anyone, but I have less desire for more people to die. Leggy seems to understand the terms and I'm hoping won't harbor any hard feelings... for as long as he has left to harbor them... I'll have to vote to lynch him as well...

"I also propose that someone who's armed, preferably even two people, stand watch over Kspr tonight. He seems really ill, who knows what the cause is? It could very well be zombie related. What if he turns? Or in a less terrifying but still concerning turn of events, what if he's legitimately sick and needs to be taken care of? He could be taken advantage by a zombie if he hasn't already. With two people watching him, if one of the "guards" turns, the other will be there to see and defend themselves, hopefully. I think it would be the safest route. If someone would lend me their weapon, I'll volunteer."

This is not the greatest signature in the world. No, this is just a tribute...

Couldn't remember the greatest signature in the world. Yeeaaah, NO! This is a tribuuute! Ohhhhh. To the greatest signature in the world! All right! It was the greatest signature in the world all right.

And the peculiar thing is this, my friends. The signature I made on that fateful night didn't actually look anything like this signature! This is just a tribute. You've gotta believe me, and I wish you were there. Just a matter of opinion. Ah, fuck! Good God, God lovin'. So surprised to find you can't stop it. All right! All right.

The sun has sank deep into the bayou, the only light remaining that of fireflies and flaming swamp gas. The group stood in the foyer, crowding around Leggy. Tears welling in his eyes, he tried to back away from the encroaching mob, but there was nowhere to go. Lazlo and Xteven each grabbed one of his arms, and dropped him to the ground. "Please..." He pleaded, "You don't need to do this, I'm not a zombie! Look at me! I'm alive!"

Hyperlisk and Glace moved in, each holding a knife. They looked at each other, unsure of how to proceed. Simultaneously, Glace shoved his knife through Leggy's heart, while Hyperlisk plunged his into Leggy's skull. Blood sprayed throughout the room, and Lazlo fainted from the sight of Leggy's brain. The body was wrapped in his sheets, and brought to the large walk-in freezer in the kitchen, along with the other bodies.

Three people had died today, and the group still had five days to endure. Would anyone survive? Would Uncle Dagobert be forced to pay for his crimes? Would anyone be left for MonkeyCon 3?

"I would be willing to watch over him with you, Jody," Kamau offers after recovering from what just happened (well, as recovered as one can be after seeing someone killed in front of you, in part by your decision). "I don't have a weapon of my own, but I remember Koraz showing off that pipe he got from the wall yesterday. That'd still be in his room, wouldn't it? Maybe I could use that tonight, and give it back tomorrow if he's feeling better."

[I'm not totally sure whether we're still playing or not...but I had time to post, so I thought I'd get that done while I had the chance.]

The game is up! Sorry to have ended it so soon, but I think this one has had too much of a hiccup to continue. There will be others, though, fear not.

But, what sort of twists and turns were there? Stars was the first to show up--this was not because he joined first, or because I wanted to incriminate him as I did last time, being a werewolf and all. It really was luck of the draw! Before he arrived at the bungalow, he was stopped by an old lady who he talked to, and who offered him an evil eye pendant. I didn't tell him this, but that pendant protected him from Zeds, so Stars could only be killed during the day by a lynching.

The two zombies were Kasper and Leggy. This, again, was completely by chance. BottomGuy and Puffin were both hunters, trained in stealth and able to watch anyone without being seen in the night. Of course, BG never got to use his ability, since he was killed on the first night!

It's also important to note that Monkeydog started the game with food poisoning, I'll get to why later. Xteven was a shaman, who had trained in Voodoo and was able to paralyze someone overnight, blocking them from potentially doing anything. In the study, Kamau found a book about voodoo and, after the second night, would have been able to do the same thing.

Glaciermage was one of the last people to join the party, partially because he got stopped in town by an old lady--possibly the same one that Stars talked to--and was given a prayer to protect him. This prayer set up a ward around any door he said it by, and would block zombies from entering, thus protecting the occupant.

On the first day, Glace and Hyperlisk went into the kitchen and found a stash of knives. I thought it was strange that they each took one, and let everyone know about them, but didn't tell anyone of the other knives. I wonder what their thoughts were behind that one? Stars went into the study with Kamau, but because of Kasper busting through the wall, was distracted when Kamau took the book. Dark Shadow and Leggy both went to search the rooms, and found a cool draft in two of the closets. This was a red herring made to make them think there was a secret passage like in the last one. Really, though, as Puffin went into the attic, she found that these breezes were caused by peepholes that could be used to spy on other guests. I wasn't really sure what this could be used for, since Puffin could already sneak into someone's room unseen, but maybe someone would have thought of something. Or not, two secret passages in the first game were never even found!

The stanky poo water that got Kasper was simply a spurr of the moment idea for being so rash. I still gave him his pipe but he had to deal with smelling bad the rest of the day, this turned out to be a nice diversion since on night one, he attacked Monkeydog, who had been slightly ill the day before. Because of eating bad man-meat, he got sick, and that's why he wasn't allowed to do anything during the second day. I don't know if anyone would have suspected him of turning like Xteven did, but I thought it was nice to remind everyone that sometimes actions have consequences, and every now and then, doing something will backfire.

I guess Kasper kind of had the worst luck in this game, since he didn't even want to attack Monkeydog in the first place. He actually tried to attack Leggy, but since they were both out zombing around, he went to the next closest door, Monkeydog's. So Monkey, if you want to be upset at anyone, be upset at me, it's totally my fault you're dead.

It's cool though, I was never mad. That's a cool twist though.

All the other knives were rusty, weren't they? So I never even bothered to tell anyone about them.

Did you put both zombies in the "peephole" rooms by design or was that random?
