Why be upset that Extra Credits already did it? Simpsons did it first, anyway.

I'm not upset that they did the episode. I love those guys. It's more that I'm upset at myself for not doing it.

That happened to me and my wife. We had an idea for a YouTube channel, but we super slacked on it. A month or so later we see someone gaining popularity doing what we wanted to. Sad days. We still have a few ideas though but it's so hard to find time.

It's disheartening. Working on an idea and fine someone else has thought of it/done it, it can suck. As if your own obstacles weren't enough. Now that you see someone else do it you get drawn back.

I doubt he's hung up by it, just sad that a regular channel he watches did.

No, I really understand how that goes. I was more pointing out that episode of South Park, and how eventually Butters just had do do stuff that had already been done if he wanted to do anything at all.

like it wasn't already bad enough rabid manchild nerds threatened to crash amazon, but now the one amiibo i'd buy as a normal person is going to be completely unfeasible.  Good on Itoi. Earthbound was the first rpg i ever beat on my own. i got it used at Funcoland, and it didn't come with the player's guide. He's 100% right that it's a rare experience, i always used to measure up every other game i played for a very long time

Sigh... I swear i'm the only person that dislikes the way nintendo does things... Wouldn't surprise me if they decided to stop half a game being accessible due to not having the right amiibo...

Meh.. Nintendo are evil to me.. I just don't know why.. it's like.. i dislike them for people being blind to their money grabbing ways..

Almost everything related to amiibos in games aren't important. No game I've seen so far has been limited because I don't have an amiibo EXCEPT Mario Party. But the use there is terrible and not worth playing in the first part.

 

If Nintendo was greedy, they for sure would make some god damn amiibos so they could actually sell them. At this point Nintendo is just hurting themselves.

Just heard that in this version, a building that's locked up and originally had a sign saying something like, "You can't come in. We're busy making Mother 2," now says "Earthbound 2" instead.

where was this? i remember the Shark in Onett Arcade telling you to come back after you beat Earthbound. i remember really thinking you could join them after you beat the game.

A quick search yields nothing, but I remember a similar building in Fourside in Earthbound.

99% chance that we're going to be pre-ordering a PS4 today

 

It's either gonna be this one or a regular PS4 with the same game bundle - and that'll just come down to whether Tara wants to spend the extra $50 for the console. (Personally I'd put it towards another game, but I can understand the appeal, given her obsession with batman.) 

 

We figured now was a good time, considering Tara will want Arkham Knight anyway, and she really wants the pre-order bonus content. We hunted around, and Gamestop has the best exclusive pre-order content (you can play as the Red Hood or Harley Quinn).

Do they sell a PS4 sku that's not a bundle? I've yet to see one with a game that I want.

PS4s are indeed sold without bundles; we just decided it was most efficient to nab the bundle since we'd be paying $60 for the game anyway. 

 

PS4 successfully pre-ordered, and we'll be nabbing it on the 23rd, be it at the midnight release or at a later point that day. :) 

 

I want Tomb Raider...and Dragon Age... and Tara wants Last of Us... and she'll have Batman... soooo many games! I haven't been this excited to buy games in a while.
