God, I've been watching a lot of Legend of Zelda videos lately, which is making me want to go back and play all of them.

It'd be something other than Skyrim! :p

If I didn't already have two of the games [main games I'd want] in this I'd be buying this Humble Bundle in a heartbeat

I just bought that bundle for Thief only. Where there any other games in it you wanted? I have all the keys...

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

I'd have bought that bundle too, but I own almost everything in it already on consoles, and see little reason to waste money buying something I already own. Only thing of note I haven't yet picked up is Murdered: Soul Suspect, but my laptop can't run that, so it's irrelevant.

From what I can tell, Murdered Soul Suspect seems a bit wonky in a few ways, but the concept seems intriguing enough for $7 or $8. I already own everything else, though.

What a coincidence - $7 or $8 is what I paid for my PS3 copy! XD Highly recommend!

Thief is probably the only other one I'd want to try, aside from the side-thing for Tomb Raider. But the other big issue I have with the bundles is that it says not redeemable for Macs...meaning I couldn't play them even if I did buy them. ):

That bundle is way too similar to the first one. Also how is it that there have been two Square Enix bundles and 0 Square or Enix games in these bundles?

Why don't they just call them Eidos bundles. Because that is what they are.

Because no one will get excited about an Eidos Bundle.

The first Shovel Knight DLC is slated to come out this spring. Plague of Shadows will feature Plague Knight as a playable character. I've seen a demo in action, and it looks fun. They also hope to have the rest of the DLC finished by the end of the year (King Knight, Specter Knight, Challenge Mode, Rule 63 Mode, and 4-player Battle Mode).

Zelda + Netflix + Game of Thrones + Family Friendly == http://kotaku.com/re...ries-1684293104 ???

Nintendo hasn't outright denied the idea of a Zelda tv show, but apparently this story was "not based on correct information."

Yea, I noticed that as well in his phasing. He's not saying it's not a show in the making, but that the information in the article was not based on correct onformation. So in reality we didn't learn anything.

More Marth amiibos later this month. I don't even care if I ever use it. I kind of want one just to have.

More Marth amiibos later this month. I don't even care if I ever use it. I kind of want one just to have.

That is what I wanted. I asked for Marth for Christmas because I thought amiibos would be easy and who cares?

Then I heard about Villager/Wii Fit Trainer/Marth going out of stock so I went quickly to a bunch of stores in my surrounding and found Villager and WFT just in case.

And now I just have a bunch of amiibos. But no Marth. Mainly because I refuse to pay scalper levels for an amiibo. Most I paid was $19 for a Toad amiibo import from AmiAmi.

Besides Marth, this was the wave I really wanted. Lucina, Robin, and Ness. I haven't been able to preorder any of them. Lucina and Robin because Fire Emblem = <3 and I play them most in Smash Bros. Ness because it's an official Earthbound memorabilia being released in America.

I hate stupid Nintendo anti-consumer practices like this.

It wouldn't bug me so much if these did nothing but looked cool, but they're also technically DLC and unlock things in games. Even if it's not super substantial and I'm not missing out on much...the fact that it's so hard to get something that is used in multiple games is frustrating.

So I knew that another Rock Band was on the way, but apparently there's also going to be a new Guitar Hero.

I'm somewhat interested in the new guitar controller, but it is a bummer that the ones I already own won't work with it.

That's why Rock Band is more interesting. It seems like everything Rock Band will be backward compatible. Or at least they're trying.

I'm probably going to get Rock Band when it comes out, if only to play all the DLC for the previous generation's games that I never got to do. Both do sound appealing to me though, as I haven't had either game since the PS2.

Not to mention, Rock Band is more challenging.

I owned GH3 and another one I can't remember, but the games were easy as shit until you hit Expert difficulty, then some of the songs got too hard to play. With Rock Band, even on the easier difficulties, I found myself struggling to catch the notes at times, which is much appreciated.

If I pick up any music game, it is going to be Rock Band.

I just wished it was cheaper to get more music for the game.

And it's only been in development for ~3 years?

It's going to be disappointing.
