I'd be dead to the world either way, so whatever.

But seriously though, Bethesda should make games in the Firefly universe.

I don't understand why all Firefly games have to be made by the most obscure studios producing titles that don't sound that interesting.

Got my New 3DS~

I suppose it was wishful thinking to hope that the guy at GameStop wouldn't inspect my old 3DS too closely. He said they could still take it, but the touch screen not working knocked $30 off the trade-in value (for refurbishing costs). Still, it got me $45 off the new model, so a modest "yay" none the less.

NoA is not releasing the standard version here, just the XL.

One day maybe Best Buy will ship my MM XL. One day...

Funny how the original DS was smaller than the XL lines, but somehow still more comfortable for people with large hands... It's almost like you should design your handheld around human hands!

I pulled it out of the box and just had to stare at it for a moment. I'm used to a DS Lite, so this thing looks comically large. xp

Haven't done much with it so far, just setting things up mostly. I'll post my thoughts once I've tried a game on it.

From a two year old post I was reading because a bot was reading it:

Curious. I've always found Nintendo's corporate politics fascinating for some reason...

I discovered yesterday that I actually have been a Club Nintendo members since 2013...then proceeded to register the two games I actually have the boxes for. All the others are back in NY, they just didn't make the move. (Though I couldn't get to the survey of the second for some reason, so I've only fully registered one.)

Kind of tempted to ask my mom to go through all our games and email me the codes, because I'd be bound to have enough to buy at least something

You should. At the very least to try and get Gold or Platinum membership, where you get a free thing in like April if you qualify.

Also be sure to do the post play surveys!

Yeah I did Club Nintendo for the first time last year and didn't know about the post play surveys until they had expired. you'd better believe I'll be doing them next week for all the games I registered today! Sucks though, I didn't know the end of the Smash Bros CD was last month. At least I'll still get Mewtwo.

Why is it that all I want to do is play flippin' Skyrim? Haven't I played this game enough? I don't have it downloaded and I don't have any characters to play, but I still feel like I want to keep playing this blasted game.

I think you might have a problem.

Although, I kinda want to play it every time you bring it up.

Same.

I'm pretty sure I've installed it just based on you talking about it.

I actually just installed Oblivion a day or two ago with the thought that I'd actually play it. As I have never really given it a chance, but I could be being unfair to it. I both don't like it as much as Morrowind or Skyrim, but I also didn't play it as soon as it came out like I did those games. I've also not spent more than a few hours playing it...so maybe I just need to explore more.

Last replay I did on Skyrim included 55GB of mods, including new textures and the ever so needed "Sounds of Skyrim" pack, that adds alot more ambient to all environments in the game. It's like playing a completely new gamer, especially since I played though the 2 expansions at the time.

I haven't touched either expansion. Most of my experience with the game was on the console version, when the game first launched.

I just downloaded about 7000 mods, I think I'm ready to have no life again.

Ugh, you guys, I have too much homework to be talking about Skyrim like this! Mat, what mods do you use?

Mostly textures/visual stuff. Dawn of Skyrim/Skyrim Radioactive adds a bunch of stuff to towns' exteriors and interiors, respectively. So far it looks good, but I haven't played a lot yet, so I donno.

Cloaks of Skyrim/Winter is Coming/Immersive armor adds stuff to wear for your character and the NPCs.

Interesting NPCs adds tons of characters to the world with full voice acting, and I think some random quests.

Alternate start so I don't have to see the intro to this game ever again.

A bunch of little gameplay things. Path of Shadows makes stealth more complicated, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

The most important mod, though, is a bear summon that plays Misirlou on the lute. Very lore-friendly.

God, I've been watching a lot of Legend of Zelda videos lately, which is making me want to go back and play all of them.
