I may eventually look into other forms of protection instead of the whitelist. White list was just the quickest fix and streets has been asking for it for a while.

I'm not sure, X-man. Sinfully Vanilla didn't pay for his copy, and he is on the white list. But I have no idea how that all works.

You could add the guest to the whitelist. But then that would mean that any guest could join.

I think there may be unofficial Minecraft patches that allow you to specify yourself as guest1337 or any other number. Can't remember where I saw that though.

If you haven't played before, and want to try before you buy, I recommend grabbing it off pirate bay and playing it single player for half an hour.

Yes apparently he was using a cracked version of Minecraft. It gave him a specific username which I added to the whitelist. He was able to log on just fine before the white list. I don't think he has tested it lately though.

alright, well like I said a few weeks/ a month or 2 or something ago I do plan on buying this game eventually I just don't really have any extra money at the moment, with me moving down to Tennessee for my music soon.

I want to get back into the Minecraft server. But I need some kind of push. Maybe we should do some kind of event or challenge or something, I don't know.

@X-Man: What I was trying to say was that you could possibly get a cracked version for free and and play with us. Not entirely sure it'll work. Also, post your music somewhere.

@Bean: I have some ideas for a survival challenge. I could set it up and you could attempt it, or we could work on it together. Were you thinking of something along those lines?

I had no specific ideas. I'd like to hear more about your idea. Post it here or pm me sometime.

I don't know if it is possible with how the server is set up, but we could install maps for MP Minecraft events. We could do Adventure Maps or Races that way without spending a long time making it ourselves. I think we should work on our own projects on the regular map as well, but having a weekend event would be nice.

In addition to this, we could try recording the events. Do a Survival Map with everyone on Skype and one person recording audio and visual. I feel that would be a good way to attract people and make members want to play. I am still recovering from my burn out of building the farm. It would be nice to get on for an evening to play a custom map with a definitive end to it.

Somebody is building something in to a mountain near the coast by my hilltop villa. Any idea who start that? I don't mind. Though I was going to build a port there. I can't complain, it's not like I've actually done it yet. It just looks neat and I was wondering who did it.

Don't worry, I don't mind. Like I said, I haven't been on in forever. I didn't exactly claim that land in the name of spain or anything. I'll come visit once I finish a project I'm working on.

Has anyone experimented with warps? I thought about building boats ot ships in various locations and then having a warp in each one, so it's as if you "sailed" to another spot on the map. Thoughts?
