As far as potions go, I have a nether wart farm now. I also have the ingredients for all the different potions. (Thx bean). The regen potions require a ghast's tear, so supplies are limited, but if you should need a heal potion, strength potion, or splash damage potion feel free to grab them at my place.

This is something I've been thinking about for a while.

I feel that imposing a whitelist would create too much of a barrier for new players to join the server. I can't guarantee that I'd be able to promptly respond to requests to be added to the whitelist and people lose interest and forget very quickly. I want to do everything to encourage more people to play, not discourage them, because the server needs more players to keep it fun.

After completing the End I am probably going to take a bit of a break from Minecraft so I will pass admin duties off to anybody who wants them. Whoever takes it up can feel free to make changes to the server settings such as installing mods like tekkit and imposing a whitelist. This way the server can continue to evolve and attract new players.

Personally, I think that is a bit of an over-reaction, because it was one block. I offered to change the location. I will accept that I should have asked first. Although, I should note I had no idea whose place it was. I am changing it back to the way it was. I apologize for not asking first.

I don't think it was you then Streets. There is a lot more wrong at the farm. Animals are where they shouldn't be. There are patches of crops missing. Gates are missing. Treasure chests in the silo are missing. And the smokehouse looks completely gutted. Could it be griefers made it to BG's farm? It's really a shame because I think the farm was one of the coolest creations on the server, and BG was one of the most talented Minecrafters to play. I'm gonna spend some time trying to restore it. But I don't think I ever went into the smokehouse, so not sure what was all in there. Sry this happened BG.

EDIT: Streets has been asking for a whitelist for a long time, and now since BG's farm has also been tampered with, I have put a white-list into place. (I think. I haven't tested it)

You might need to activate it in the serverproperties file. I think it's a simple matter of finding the right line and changing it to "true."

I downloaded the minecraftserver.jar file. Ran it and turned white list on and then uploaded it back to the server. But I will try your way too VP just to make sure. If anyome tests it and it isn't activated, plz let me know.

White list doesn't work. Two people (not on the list) logged on while I was on and blew up my house again.
