I'm surprised you noticed that one, most people don't (which is a bit sad since I put tons of effort into it and it's one of my favorites).
It was basically my attempt to get back into doing surreal art, though it looks a bit more like a fantasy illustration, but oh well.

for liepard, that was done in photoshop, if I remember correctly. As for Blitzle, not that I know of- but it's only a matter of time.

On and off, yeah. The picture of the eleventh doctor was done as a birthday present for my brother, since that's his favorite doctor. I've watched a lot of the episodes with him, but not all of them. Actually, I haven't bothered watching it much at all, lately.

well it's actually on mid season break right now so your not missing much. but yeah. The show is awesome, the eleventh Doctor is pretty cool, After this season there is going to be a new Doctor though, again... It seems like every time I really start to like the last one they replace them without hesitation. I mean it's a cool way to make sure the show never gets dry and old and you never really have to get sick of characters, but seriously. did you see the mid season Finale, Saying goodbye to Rory and Amy was way too sad, I Literally Cried a bit. it made me sad. Then it made me have a serious wake up call how can I be so upset about fictional Characters when I'm not that upset about most real people Dieing. Oh well, I loved them now their gone forever.

Ah, yeah, I had seen that episode, though I didn't mind seeing Rory and Amy go. Don't get me wrong, I did like them, but I kind of got tired of them. I think I might have missed one or two episodes before that, though I'm not sure. I didn't realize it was on a break, so that's how little a check on these things.

I won't lie, I was kinda Hoping for new companions for a while, I mean every time they went home I was like alright, new Companions now sweet, but then it would pick back up and He would be at their house knocking on the door like "come on, more adventures", it was getting tiring. So I'm glad the writers wrote themselves into a hole they couldn't get out of. I swear to you if they find a way to bring them back I will be pissed. Especially because they made me Cry.


And how was that a meh, episode? it was happy and sad and And just simply an overwhelming strain on the emotions.

I never said it was a meh episode? Just that I don't mind seeing Rory and Amy leave. XD It was well written and interesting and I really liked the whole book thing, too. So all in all a good episode, but I don't grieve for Amy and Rory. :P

So are you in College then? I assume that because you said art CLASSES, as in plural

Yeah, I started school recently. Art major, of course. Though most of what I do are studies, not fully finished projects like this. So, you guys likely won't see any of that, at least not for a while.

School. :( I've been drawing alll the time, but it's all still lifes and shitty 2D design projects (srsly, shitty. like drawing a color wheel and crap), so for the most part it's nothing interesting. Though, at the end of the term I do intend to take the few cool pics and post them. There's at least a few where, even if they're not characters of mine or even people, they're pretty well done.
I'm also working on a new painting which has taken up any artistic free time I have, but once that's done I'll have something super awesome to post.

And there! Finally posted stuff from my art classes. I posted all of the shitty projects from 2D design, but only a small portion of the stuff from drawing, since a lot of the stuff we did were exercises and not full pictures (or I just didn't feel they were that good). I also reposted Dermatillomania, but with corrected colors, since the version I posted was waaay too bright and washed out.
As you can see, the majority of the stuff I posted was done in charcoal- which I've found I like quite a bit. :D I don't think the self-portrait is very good anatomically, but ah well. I mostly just like how the hair turned out, since it was the first time I used vine charcoal on a serious pic, and its softness works really well for hair, I think.

It feels like it's been a while since I've gotten to see much art from you. Probably because of your classes, I guess.
I'll be interested to see what else you do with charcoal since you seem to enjoy it.

Is that the egg Dave had to hatch to enter the Medium I spy in that pile of eggs?

I didn't intentionally draw any Homestuck eggs, no. :P Actually, the only one I purposely did was the dragon egg in the center, since I was reading Game of Thrones at the time.

And yeah, the portrait is too smooth. I'm satisfied with the result enough to, well, show it and all, but it was a very quick piece done while I was catching up on homework, so I didn't show it enough detail to get the shading accurate.

The painting is an illustration from the books we're writing, specifically the part of the book that Kamau is writing, containing all of his characters (with the exception of Fate (top right corner) and Destruction (top left corner), who are mine). The rest are Alan (dark brown hair), Luna (blue hair), Ishida (black, curly hair), and Lucian (reddish hair). I won't go into too much detail of what's happening here, since it's Kamau's scene, but essentially, Luna is using magic to shield all of her companions and herself from the oncoming tidal wave, while the two angels look on.
