I'm not sure what's making me feel like Davahl's face is too big... It's either how large his chin feels, or how high up his eye is (potentially coupled with his lack of hair.)

But aside from that! I really like the lightness of the second picture. Word choice totally not related to the feathers showcased.

I think the muscles in the first are detailed really well :) And both are colored wonderfull

Yeahhh, I realized his face a bit off when I first uploaded it, tried to ignore it, but ended up editing anyway. Just updated the file with the fixed version.

Two new paintings to share. First, I finished the Strength painting I had been taking process photos (last three sessions I forgot to take pics, sorry). I also added a painting to the Insecurities series.

Strength

The End

Unfortunately, in the case of the latter, the photo really sucks. Don't bother zooming in, it look worse when you do. Using flash on my camera is the only way to get a clear photo, but with this style of painting it created a really bad glare that makes the painting indecipherable. I'll probably see if my brother in law can help me out some time and take a better pic of it, since he has access to a professional camera that has a long exposure time, but I dunno when I might be able to arrange for that.

When we're both on (probably later) I'd love a chance at a guess on the meaning behind the latest painting. :)

As for Strength, I said it on FB, but love it! I love all the detail you can see even from far away, and seeing it up close is even better. It's really dynamic (is it funny that I want to call it "strong"? Pun, I know, but that's how I'd describe the detail game of this painting.

It took me entirely too long to connect that she's doing this inside her temple (thanks, Creation statues).

Sure, you're welcome to guess, though I'll be surprised if you get it.

And I see you couldn't help yourself from making the pun on dA. :p

It was a good pun. ;D And excellent. Even if I don't get it, you know I like overthinking things. XD

I drew a picture of someone else's character for a contest (that I placed 3rd in, yay). I'm really, really happy with this one. The coloring came out perfectly, and I made a lot of progress with my digital painting process with it.

Ah, I noticed this one when you uploaded it to dA. Congrats on placing~ The character's creator seems to be rather fond of your entry.

So, figured I'd finally scan and post some of my school work from this past semester before I go back. Not all of it, just my final project, really.

The assignment I did was to make six costume plates for a production of Othello.

I like how you can see the similarities of the menswear, but yet can also tell how each one is distinctly its own piece.

Love the ladies' daywear!
