Yeah, if they could trigger that shader by eating mushrooms it would be incredible. Adjusting the colours to be more luminous and neon would be a nice touch too.

Canary hasn't been updated yet. You can play, but no warps for a little bit. Once that is released, though, I'll get that working again.

Ok, my previous [double] post is finally happening. Getting geared up to buy the game, but first I have to register an account. I'm surprised I had not already but anyway. I take it the username you select when registering is what is displayed while you are playing, correct me if I'm wrong. Now I need to decide on a name that -

I decided to check real quick if BottomGuy was taken, it was, so I checked if I had indeed registered that name and forgotten. Guess what: I did. All paid up and just waiting for it to process so I can begin playing. I have stopped following updates for about the last month and can't wait to actually play myself for the first time. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I'll update with how things go. Maybe. If I can dray myself away.

Project 'New Genesis' was a failure.

I got a horrible spawn point in a winter biodome which was made worse that there were no trees. It took me five minutes to find a single tree I could punch. Before I knew it the first day was over and I only had enough wood to make a work bench and two pickaxes at the last second. Went to the top of a oddly cubed shape hill and thought I'd hide up there. Then I build a hole directly below me and covered it up. Yep, I started the night in a 1x1x2 hole. From there I expanded it out, but things weren't going well. I had destroyed all the trees that I could see for some distance, I was in a hole above sea level, and it was snowing. In the end it took me three days just to find coal and mining efforts were all a failure. Then a friendly spider pushed me off the cliff I was working on to my death. Took me a while to find my shamble of a fort. Everything was going so badly that, well, I've decided to restart.

I think I'll call my new world "New Phoenix"

By the way, anyone know of a good, free program that you can use to record your desktop or game? I think it would be cool to keep a digital journal while I'm playing my next world.

I went looking, and so far nothing. You can take in-game screen shots with the F2 key. If you don't want your hand, and inventory set items, showing just press F1 before you take the shot. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Onto my Minecraft adventure for the day!
After my long absence I found myself back at my home. With no warps I was left to walk back to the spawn for the Gold Rush event.
As I walked along, in the distance I saw this:

Yeah, the disappearing landscape is a common problem with the current version of Minecraft. The only solution is to log out and log back in again.

Thanks for looking, Spaz. I think taking snapshots will be better anyway since its what you guys do and I don't have to constantly talk. And hey, I did not know the game had a built in snapshot key so thanks for that tidbit! I'll probably post images when I get an 'organized' abode. Right now I have a Creeper problem. Seriously, every day I pop up there are at least three of the buggers on top of my house and at least one stalking my canal.

Awesome pictures, too, Spaz. I think its nice when you have to walk around sometimes. Get to see everything up close and watch it come into view.

That would be me, Vicious or Bean.

It is registered under my name, but Vicious and Bean are in charge of keeping it running.

It's a basic 5 slot server, so room for 5 players at a time (for the time being). costs are $1,95 per slot. So a total of $9,75 each month.
Every month I send a team pay link through a mass PM conversation. with that link you can help pay any amount you want, usually total cost divided by the number of active players, which is 6 or 7 people including you now I believe.
