Went on today and there were monsters everywhich way!
Haven't seen anyone else online in a long time, which is sad.
I have no idea what to do with my minecart system now that the new powered rail has made all my elaborate booster systems obsolete.

Yeah, I went to update it the other day and I think I screwed something up.
I also apparently had the nether activated, so I spawned there, fell in lava, and was dead.

Not sure. It's possible the minecraft login server was down temporarily. Try logging into the minecraft site and see if yer password works there still.
