If ye have a few blocks already, just look down and keep jumping while placing blocks.

otherwise you need to wait till someone gets you out (you have to be online)

Yeah, the canary guys (who make the mod that we use for warps, etc.) seem to be a little behind on this one.

It's a shambles every single time. Notch has been promising a proper mod api for months but I think there are a lot of fundamental issues with the idea that I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on.

I had the same thing happen to me. I managed to place two blocks quick enough to get to the closest ladder there.

I simply attach the file and then click 'add to post' when it's done uploading.

I hate to suggest it, but if I'm not mistaken, /kill is an effective way of getting yourself unstuck. I'll leave it up to you sorts to figure out how.

I was stuck due to the game now loading all the way so I /killed myself. Dropping everything of course. I made my way all the way back to El Heffe and back on the Bean's minecart system and fell off due to the game not LOADING!

This works... but remember you loose all your stuff.

Yeah, I literally have nothing on me. I spawned at the top of this tower that was rather empty and started making my way down the spiral stairs, but then noticed there was a shaft in the middle with ladders. I figured that would be the fastest way down and there wasn't anything to look at going down the stairs instead. Didn't realize the bottom had no exit. Tried breaking blocks with my hands, but they just instantly reformed and gave me no materials. I guess I'll have to kill myself by bashing my head against the wall.

Where is the map of the world in this thread? I managed to find an old one, but I'm pretty sure it's really out dated. Also can't search for 'map' because it's less than 4-letters long. I'd really like to see one to know: 1) Where to see all of your guys awesome stuff and 2) A good spot to start building mine. Also, if anyone wants to, agree on a time to log on and give me a tour? Again, want to see all the amazing stuff you guys have made and lay claim to my own plot o' land.

I went looking, and so far nothing. You can take in-game screen shots with the F2 key. If you don't want your hand, and inventory set items, showing just press F1 before you take the shot. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Onto my Minecraft adventure for the day!
After my long absence I found myself back at my home. With no warps I was left to walk back to the spawn for the Gold Rush event.
As I walked along, in the distance I saw this:

I think this is Tupa's doing. Once closer I realized Tupa has also made a nice home for himself:

Then I turn the corner and find yet another fun looking house!

Between looking for hidden Gold Ore and having fun with the achievements the discoveries kept coming:

So I decided to take a walk on the neato looking bridge. Notice the GIANT LAVA TOWER in the background there:

Upon reaching the end of said bridge I saw this sign:

A little further along and I found this one as well:

Are these new players or just crazy names? After exploring Little NIkky and Milkshake's place I went to the GIANT LAVA TOWER. Which is actually called 'The Evil Fortress':

At first I was confused as to whom Tupa was 'over doing' then I realized there was still yet another fortress to poke about in:

Proof of who it belongs to! That and now we know why the Evil Fortress was born because this fortress was made to be great and needed a rival... or so I'm told...:


That more or less sums up my adventures for today. Well, until he game freaked out on me. I was making my way to the Library and spotted a forest fire. I went to investigate only to be stranded:




I'll try walking around again after I post this.

I kinda went on a building spree. I particularly like numbers 2 and 3. though 3 is not yet finished.

I wouldn't mind logging on with you! I can't guarantee the game will load well for me, but I can try! I think you're three hours behind me. It's 9:50am, as I post this, so yeah. I pretty much have all day off today, tomorrow and such. (I work really early in the morning.)

You would be correct, as it shows your post being made at 6:50AM for me. I usually can't get online until 7PM (I work during the day), but that means 10AM for you...The earliest I could push it back is to 9PM your time since I don't get off work until 8PM and have to drive home, get my laptop and go to where there is internet (mine is too glitchy right now). I don't know if you'd be able to do that late if you work early in the morning.

Woot! This is going to be awe-...HOLY SHIT THAT'S BIG! No wonder you guys have warps. And I really won't have a probably finding my own build area. Except...where the fuck have I been building on that map? *takes out magnifying glass*

I haven't done an updated map since you started playing, though I probably will do another soon. Maybe when Canary is updated and I'm backing things up and all that jazz.

i just saw the maps on page 31 and shiiiiiiit that world is huge, are all the worlds that big? or is it only online that they're that size?

That's just the places we've been to. The map doesn't show uncharted territory. It's essentially infinite.
